I've always liked the Blue Shell. It's hard to control but really satisfying. I know I'm 7 months late, but I'd totally be down to see a full playthrough with these power ups. Wouldn't it be cool if there was a way to randomize them into all the blocks that normally have power ups?
That boot looks really similar to the Rocket Boot you can get in Terraria, it's animation is similar also, the 'farts' are from the rockets on them. Rocket boots and wings in Terraria give flying for periods of time which really helps in getting around the environments in the world because normal jumps are around five to 6 block high.

Terraria was actually created as a way to replace Super Mario Bros X but it later got it's own identity to the huge indie game it is now known as

You can tell there was a lot of time put into this rom hack. The powers all seem to represent their originals pretty well! If they were set up throughout the worlds in item blocks, that'd be even more awesome.
Looks amazing, it's so strange that the patch only puts them in an annoying line in Top Secret Area, groups of blocks would have been better. Or placing them throughout levels.
Have you heard of Super mario bros Z? it isn't a game, but it was a fan animation spanning 9 episodes each about 30 minutes long. it is a combination of super mario and dragonball z styled fights. it is still on youtube, so if this sounds fun, check it out

These are absolutely the Terraria Rocket boots. If you go to the rocket boots page, the sprite is almost exactly the same. With 700 hours in Terraria, I recognized them instantly.

Oh man just combine this mod with the better hammer brothers graphics mod and you'd have the game I actually wanted and was thinking I was buying back in the early 90's! I was expecting a better, more dazzling array of power ups or at least equally awesome power-ups to Super Mario Bros 3 when I bought the Super Nintendo and got Super Mario World. I was SO let down! Super Mario world began my depression and alienation with the Mario franchise when suddenly there were no more cool suits, and the hammer brothers enemy sprites looked like they were no longer made by professionals. Hammer bros suit was always my favorite but I might change my mind if playing with this new set of power ups. ;)

That was one of my biggest negatives of SMW, only 2 powerups. My favorite is the Hammer Suit, thanks to SMB3. It was lackluster to follow up part 3 with its great powerups to SMW with only 2😒
I loved all of these powerups but I loved the Cat Bell the best because it looks so awesome, and looks very fun to play with! I'd love to see you doing a playthrough utilizing the cat bell!

Personally id like a playthrough with ice, cat and shell mario but I think if there is a way to do it with a randomizer that would be sick. Also I wish metal mario was in this but it would be kinda overpowered
I use to play this game back in the nineties, I remember the 96 exits, cheese bridge secret, with soda lake below. I never knew about this secret, including someone collapse cookie mountain and there’s more levels when it crumbled down leading to a cave going into the mountain, a ghost house, castle and five levels

There was also a new electric flower added to the custom powerup patch. (Patches add new features to the game)
I do know where to get all the sprites for all those powerups without going into the rom of the hack.
