Marco Beltrami shows his mature side with this astonishingly beautiful score for the 2011 inspirational true story told in "Soul Surfer".
The score gets released on April 5th in MP3 format at iTunes and Amazon, then On Demand CD-R form on Amazon on April 19th. :)

We spent more time wet than we did dry.
My mom was convinced
that we were mermaids.
From the moment I caught my first wave,
I knew that I wanted to be a pro surfer.
Very touching. Very dramatic.
Nothing wrong with home being a place with 4 walls and a welcome mat. Not everyone has the privilege if living in areas with beaches. Some people are born into very poor families so us poor people have our walls with holes in them and the 4 sides to our food stamp cards to call home.
Happy for you that you got to live by the beach or even a few hours from it.

We visited hawaii in november 18. I ever was addicted to the ocean and the water. After a hard time in my life, I found peace on a surfboard. I was standing on the the board and there was peace in me. We arrived on oahu and it felt like coming home.

I used to jam to this as I went to bed on Wednesday nights in my grandparents basement when I was a freshman in high school. The sunshine shining down from the windows at ground level, the plywood platform with the mattress, the sounds of my grandparents upstairs getting ready for bed...I have a feeling of nostalgia so strongly associated with this music, even though I did not live in the Pacific Islands and have never surfed. It's the sound of happiness in early high school.

I fell in love with this song from the moment I heard it. I grew up with my sister in Hawaii, on the Big Island, so I get emotional whenever I hear it. Now I have my first baby, whose one. I look at her and want her to experience all that I did, and have a deep love for Hawaii too. 🥰

I’ve been watching this movie since I was a little kid not the smartest thing and I’ve had to overcome my fear of sharks lol but it’s always been a dream of mine to surf and this movie and my dad inspired it there’s soemthing about watching someone surf it’s amazing and I wanna do it, it’s my goal for this summer and I want to stick with it
i absolutley love this and i listen to it 24/7 it makes me soo happy this is my all time favorite movie, literally used to watch it every night and still watch it all the time, and probaly can say it word per word while its playing lol, its so inspiring and I love it
