Hey guys! Here's a look at 20 awesome Texture & Resource Packs released over the past month. Minecraft was on 1.18.1 when I was putting this video together, but because 1.18.2 is such a minor update, all these packs will work on that version too. Although do note that packs that change models, or packs that allow item renaming require Optifine, and at the time of this videos release, Optifine wasn't available.

Animated Textures may work with other packs, but it will probably look like the vanilla-style animations that Animated Textures has, not matching other packs’ artstyles

I have 1 mod you should totally check out - it's called "Tetra" and it lets you customize weapons (and tools) on a huge scale ig, like you can literally wrap a sword's handle or temper the blade etc. It's an awesome addition to rpg like modpacks and if you change the config for epic fight a little bit you can even combine the 2 mods!

Great Video but please note that High definition textures != Higher quality textures.
Might be for some for some textures but not how you used it.

5:15 I remember I made a resource pack that renaming crossbow to flint knock would make it into a flintknock model and a rile(forgot the name although it had a specific name ) would turn into a model of the rifel... I had tried making it so that enchanting crossbow name flintknock with quick charge would turn into rifel.. Didn't work

remember when texturepacks all had unique themes and stuff, instead of just being pseudo-mods or hyper-realistic?
I do. Dokucraft used to just blow my mind away! I remember my first time seeing it being during a shadow of israphel video.

painterly will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart. I just wish it was working.
there was one texture pack i can't remember for the life of me, but it was so cute! everything was really simple and flat, ores had four little squares of color on them. It was nice!
