I can't believe a full playthrough of the color version doesn't exist. I, like everybody else, have been trying to remember what game this was for YEARS. I'm in my thirties now, wtf happened? Thank you for the upload, though
Man, I remember trying to fill that castle with as much crap as I could during the hour we had in the computer lab during my elementary school days. Would love to see a full game-play of this sometime, with all the maze-running characters.
Same deal, this game was at least 10 years old when we were playing it in the early 2000s. Our computer lab had the color version of this game, along with the original KidPix, and this mouse practice game that took place in the ocean.
@@XxDutchysPackinxX found a demo version of the original 2d version on myabandonware when I installed NumberMaze Challenge (a 3d version of the original game)
I see the other comments are basically saying what I will, but: This is the first video game I played. Ever. At a Shelter for Women and Children, they had a few Macs and you got to go in there in the mornings. I have been on a kind of journey trying to recall the name for actual decades and finally found this video. Thank You for uploading this!
you're welcome i still can't find the windows version in color which i remember. wonder if someone could remake a clone of this game (im sure it's easy)
OMFG I have been hunting this game down for years last time I played it was back in 2001 on A Windows 98 PC and it was in Color this was back when learning games were fun I remember first getting this game way back in either 1996 or 1998.
DANG, childhood memory unlocked! The sound effects alone take me back. WOW. Don't ask me why my elementary school still had this game circa 2007 (possibly even later) 😂🙈 at least it was the color version though!
@@emptyspotlight the color version is the one that had the voice overs for whenever a question was asked, right? And it had more than one voice? It had a lower and higher ones.
So judging from the comments other then the Challenge version this version is not for Windows? I've been looking for a very long time I'm beginning to believe that is version of the game never exist for Windows? I can only ever find the Mac Version of this. If the Windows version does exist it's a real shame it's looking like lost media at this point since it can't be found any where's it seems? Also for people who don't possibly know this the Color version is on Mac as well. It wasn't just for the supposed Windows version that can't seem to be found any where's.
I did see a version on eBay for Windows but I lost the bid. because if I would have won it I would have definitely uploaded it somehow. And yes this is the Mac version
Update 2023: looks like a demo of the Windows version I have been looking for, I decided to install the 3d version i found on myabandonware after i ignored it, and it has a demo of the 2d version I was looking for, i'll have to do a gameplay video soon, PS: im not good at math
Great Wave Software was acquired by McGraw-Hill, which became part of School Specialty Publishing, and School Specialty Publishing was acquired by Carson-Dellosa. Who owns the rights to Great Wave Software's products now?
I know Great Wave Software doesn't exist anymore, but that doesn't mean the games it made are no longer copyrighted. I want to know who owns the rights to the games the defunct company made.
If only someone had the Talking version in a video! I have the game but the OS emulator I use doesn't have working audio, so the game can't be heard unfortunately...
That's where I got it The Mac version from. Windows? did not know that. edit: according to the screenshots I'm showing number maze challenge, which is an enhanced version of this game that I played.
