Am I the only one that create stories in my head for these amazing scores?! They're just so epic!
Epic stories full of inner turmoil or a raging war. Yes. I do, too.
You're not the only one
You're sure not the only one to write stories to this music. I do it, scene after scene, and they become musical outlines! Gorgeous. How did I live before Thomas Bergersen?
You're not.
Oh I totally am. 😍
The Greatest story never told!
XD
Henry Wich movie?
Henry OK thanks!!!
sergio sanchez yes
In Asia and the Pacific, the war still raged...
This track is going to go down in history as a timeless masterpiece
I sure hope so :')
It Will.
Timeless composer even today
The vocals in this are well placed.
What is not to like about Thomas Bergersen - this is just one of his stunning pieces. This is also an amazing album. Stirs the soul.
8 minutes of lying on my back, closing my eyes, listening to great music, thinking of everything in life.
Or nothing in your life😉
Haha
Yes I agree with you
The greatest story never told!
man this just feels like "the legend of a noble man who against all odds, persevered, stood true and saved all" type of music...
it fuels the soul~
"You're the one casts those illusions. Impressive." -A Skyrim Guard.
roadhouse699 who*
lmao, didn't even catch that until like the 5th time i scrolled through this comment
No, they actually use that grammar in game.
Heard about you and your honeyed words...
Gods might get nervous, a man/woman approaches with their weapon drawn...
Why is it i get so excited when I find beautiful music like this? Does anyone else fell the same?
Because its real and it means something to the composer
This song sets a bar, and very little meets it.
This is what epic music really sounds like.
I've been wondering for a while now how come one of the best music produced in our generation is used only for trailers and commercials. The songs by TSFH, audiomachine, Music Junkies etc. speak volumes and they are dignified only by advertisements of products. Most of the time you can even name one of those songs something close to it's title because they all carry some story told in music. And yet we use them in short trailers that these days are usually bad enough telling the entire plot. Usually when I read my books I do it listening to some playlist compiled from such songs and any great book becomes even greater. Later when I listen to the music I remember parts of those books or vice versa. I know I just want this kind of music to be used for something meaningful. Imagine an audiobook, a game or even a movie or TV series using it as means to enhance the story. Some films and series already employ such composers and producers(kudos Mr. Zimmer for nearly any soundtrack you make makes any film or game twice as engaging and you couldn't have picked better to collaborate with than Nolan) however I think TSFH(Thomas & Nick), audiomachine and the rest are selling themselves short which is such a shame. Anyway Long Live Thomas Bergersen, TSFH and everything they make. If game and movie producers can't see the value in your work that's their loss. Cheers!
+Ivaylo Grebenarov Because for some dumb reason, people nowadays only like music if it has words.
+Ivaylo Grebenarov try listening to Celldweller he's like Thomas Bergerson an he has real power and emotion in his music and also the instraments he uses are great and he is to me the real god of music better than Thomas Bergerson.
+Moshe Feldman For example, all of those composers like Pink Floyd who, although with masterful lyrics, only are really writing poems rather than real songs. It makes me mad that people even call them 'songs', however I do accept them as an art form.
+Ivaylo Grebenarov Illusions, illusions dude--That's why! This kind of music is hypnotic, emotional and very strong. It can be used as a great marketing tool (for movies, trailers and so on) for that reason. It opens people to suggestions, and creates emotional triggers..
+Ivaylo Grebenarov You'll be amazed, Nick Pheonix (co-composer of TSFH) has actually composed music for an e-book. It's called Colin Frake, look it up! It's bloody amazing.
Damn, I clicked on this completely random, and suddenly I was listening to some of the best music I've ever heard.
Watch tgsnt dude, and know the truth.
@@georgesia9347 If I knew what this is, I would ;)
@@CitizenLUL it's the greatest story never told, a documentary
After 30 years i found the perfect track . Thanks Thomas
I don't know why I like this music so much, maybe it's the way the instruments work together so well, or how hard it was to put this together, the tempo, theme and beat of the song each time is so well thought. The choir that chimes in gives each song a badass moment, not many people appreciate the ability to sit down, close your eyes and listen to a song like this, and to just think of the most Awsome things ever! Not many people even make this type of music any more!
Ya not many people make this kind of music 'cause it's "boring" and "slow" and "classical music". All of which are not true. :I This is true beauty, not like the noise chaos of mainstream Dubstep and stuff.
Justin Li I make both Techno and Classical music xD
TheMwarrior50 Are you human? O_O
Justin Li Nope. I'm just me x)
***** Ikkaku would approve of a hairless god.
Amazing... how could I have missed this? How could I have drowned myself in pop, unaware of THIS astounding beauty!?
This... THIS is music at its BEST!
Song goes straight to the soul ...
I CAN'T GET OVER HOW TALENTED THIS GUY IS!
Serenity Moon he is god
Thomas really has the ability to keep up the epicness. Some songs/tracks that are longer than five minutes suffer from becoming boring after some time, but this one right here had me on the edge of the seat for its whole eight minutes. Too good to be true, this song might be an... Illusion... (okay, that was a bad pun, please don't kill me).
+TheSchokodragon i wont ^_\\
How does it feel to have found the diamond of music? 260244 out of 7 billion people. That's 1 in 26897, i sure feel blessed for being one of these people. Thanks Thomas!
Yeah, I'm totally in your plan ! I'm sure that we can change the music's world. It's gonna be hard, but if we are numerous enough and united, motivated enough, it will be much easier. We just have to remember to never fight on several fronts, go to the win one battle after another.
I think the popularity doesn't really matter, this type of music will endure because it is good, not simply because it is liked. This one is my favourite :D
This song is so amazing, every time I listen to it my mind is blown from the aggression and grace in the chorus. I've listened to it about 20 times! It never gets old :)
only 20? ;)
Justin Li by now, over 57 :)
When I first heard this song my ears listen nd cheer nd my mind fell in love
Thank God that music exist!
Omg, this piece takes you to another place. Music is not for listening to but for how it makes you feel
'The greatest story never told'.. watch it now and be gone of your illusions.
+ulfenstyle because you watch music, seems legit
f45411 No, you watch a documentary...
Which happens to have this song in it.

which you never said prior

I recommend that you purchase and read "Judaism Discovered", written by Michael Hoffman II, which documents how the Third Reich was both subservient to Rabbinical Authorities in its territories and how it assisted in the elimination of Christian opposition to Cabalism. Two examples that I will provide you that are talked about in this work are:
-the Babylonian Talmud published in the Third Reich from about 1934 to 1938.
-the execution of Maximilian Kolbe, a catholic priest who fought Rabbinic Judaism and Freemasonry, via lethal injection.
You can purchase the work here at: revisionisthistorystore.blogspot.com/2010/03/michael-hoffmans-online-revisionist.html
I've never heard such an epic piece of music. That even kicks out "Archangel" as my number 1 in epic music.
yeah the vocals edges the archangel
someone who makes universal music like this has no problem sharing it for free i believe
this is a certified hood classic
If things like art, music, and literature can not break through the ice blocks that are our hearts.. Then their existence is meaningless... This music, makes life worth living.. And a bit more tolerable. Keep it up, Thomas Bergersen.
Inspires me to actually get things done. Not just say, "Oh, yeah- definitely! Tomorrow without fail!" No, it makes me *want* to see something through immediately. Cheers.
This masterpiece shall never be forgotten

Is it just me or like can you literally fly when you hear this music?! Beautiful!
This is seriously one of the best things I've heard in a long long time... And I'm NOT easy to please...
Thomas Bergersen is a true genius. His work is absolute.
every TSFH album is a soundtrack in desperate need of a movie, they're just too epic
Agree
Of all the big orchestra albums I have listened to I like Thomas Bergersen then most.
Beautiful
Hellish chaos may prevail but it can be resisted and defeated. The enemy's strength exists only in its lies. Once the lies are exposed the enemy falls like a house of cards.
This particular piece of music encapsulates the struggle between eugenics and dysgenics, between light and darkness, between reason and absurdity,
between evolution and extinction.
We are between two worlds at this very moment, which way it steers, is up to us.
Literally listened to this song 10 times in a row. I just can't believe how amazing it is.
He's a masterful composer, that's for sure. This is the kind of music I am happy to pay for to support the artist. Once again, well done, Thomas Bergersen.
He was right. The Greatest Story Never Told.
where to watch?
Literally one of THE BEST songs I have ever heard in my life...... Keep on writing such amazing music!!!!!
Thomas bergersen best musicians 😍😘
WOW feels like you are teleported to an unknown planet and expierence an adventure where you think much about life but it also remembers me at an prehistoric human culture
I have no illusions about how epic and soulful this music is.
great music !!! thank you ! 2021 !
One of my personal favorite songs of all time. Thank you for this one, very much.
Thomas Bergersen you are my hero ! :D
Classical music has truly taken refuge in trailer and soundtrack music.
This stuff is better than any of the other stuff people listen to.
I can hear rythm. I can hear the beat. I hear more, though. I hear the cry of forgotten realms, the lamening over great loss. The drum tells of woes. The chorus speaks of lore. And the rest...a mystery left to the mind.
Whenever someone asks who is my favorite musical artist, I'm proud to say that Two Steps From Hell/Thomas Bergersen is.
One of my favorite composers
"Reflections in the water
Fade and disappear
Illusions that my eyes can see
But cannot touch nor hear
And now I come to ask myself
Are you really real?
If I reach out to take your hand
Will it be your hand I feel?
You might be an illusion
My eyes might be deceiving me
You could be someone that I made up
A wish, a dream, a fantasy
Questions like these just make doubt stronger
Creating a kind of inner hunger
In quiet solitude I ponder
Leaving my mind to search and wander
If life is so much like a dream
And things aren't always what they seem
Then let me walk this road with you
Until our wakening is due."
-"Illusions" by Rachel McCausland.
It's the letter of the song?
It's the letter of the song?
Its pure magic...the fusion between electrosounds and symphony makes me cry. just awesome
My body is shivering with the power and spirit of this music
I simply adore the woooouuuuuuuuuww effect on 2:45 ....!! Like an opening of a mothership :D
like the Reapers in Mass Effect xD
+buek14 ABSOLUTELY AGREED
I am sorry i am this late to tell you buddy, but your comment literally changed my life in the world of video game :D because of your comment, i played Mass Effect trilogy, three times in a row and it became my TOP 1 of all time :D my whole view of video gaming, until that moment, changed :D I couldn't find the video where you left me this comment so i can thank you for this :D It was until today :P So.. thank you, thank you, thank you :))))
Greatest love story of all time
I feel like I am transposing ughhh :0~
One of the best pieces of music ever....every time I listen to it I still get goosebumps
I've had the Illusions album since it became public and love every piece on it, never get tired of listening to it. It is one of the best of his creations. Thank you Thomas Bergersen
This song takes you both deep within yourself and then out of this world, the emotions it makes one go through are indescribable and yet so strong.
This is where you stop using the word "epic" and go with "monumental" instead. Dazzling and intense from the very beginning to the very end, eight minutes and not one second too long. It's so awesome that Mr. Bergersen also composes some stuff without having "Trailer Music" in mind. The tracks can be as long as they need to be, and they can sound the way he wants them to sound. By the way, he announced a new album for 2013, called "Sun".
You can 'like' whatever music you want to. I stand by my belief that music can only truly be great when you feel your body tingle with inspiration and feel ever change in the sound to speak to your heart and soul.
They say love is a universal language, I say that music is the only language that truly transcends the barriers of sound.
That really is a bit of a generalization of youth. I was listening to this stuff when i was young and it still is the pinnacle of modern music.
What? This is LOW QUALITY? Then how good is the actual version???? :OOO
It is amazing!!! You should buy it, really recommend.
Yeah this is really low quality. I can hear some static in my headphones.
Music like this is why i own a giant 11,000 dollar music system at home. Some folks spend 40,000 on a car. I prefer to drive a crappy car and have my sound system instead.
@@wa2368 Lmao Agreed
this track reminds me of an world i dreamed about, like it was real and just forgotten.
This piece of music is incredible. every time i listen to it i get shivers down my spine. i freaking love Thomas Bergersen
Cabe destacar que esta canción es una de las mejores he impresionantes
Interpretaciones qué compuso Thomas Bersegen.
De verdad me fascinó!!
X2
Freaking love this song. One of my favorites from Bergersen.
This is just epic.
The most epic song I have ever heard in my life. This is 10x Requim For A Dream level.
One of the greatest composers this planet has ever seen and will forever remain.
This music is truly beautiful...the sounds make me more feel more emotion than any words ever could
"I've heard this song before...maybe in a dream."
~Spectrum
After a decade, I just found myself listening to it under the shower. This song is on repeat again. Gosh!
J'adore vos musiques Thomas Bergensen, continuez :)
This music is so powerfull that it leads you to believe that you possess some kind of unnatural power but...as a matter of fact:
it's only ILLUSIONS! :)
....
All TSFH Albums are great and perfect to load yourself before an important match!
How did I not know of this amazing composer before today? D': Makes me so proud to finally find a Norwegian dude who makes music in the same vein as Zimmer, so very proud! This track was absolutely amazing!
This piece is stunning. Excellence of sound.
discovered it in 2016 and never get bored of it
8-minute straight full of illusionary epicness
God? Is that you? I am ready to do your bidding. I am ready to fight for my country and my people. Do not let me falter. Do not let me hesitate. Do not let me fall, for if I fall, we all will fall.
God if you're still there. Take me. I am ready.
see you in battlefield brother
We, the human race, are blessed by this glorious music and we hold the wisdom to realize there is more to music than simply "pop" genres discussing matters that are discussed too much. This music just exalts oneself. Amazing.
First time i heard this soundtrack was back in 2011-2012 and later on i couldn't remember the title after few attempts through out the years.
I always had in mind that the name was like ''burger'' (🍔lol) or ''berger-ish'' but this time i included the 2011 year on the search bar and saw that thumbnail with the purple rose flower and i was like...wait a second... this is it, finally i found it!
"... In Asia and The Pacific the War still Raged..." And this Epic song followed

I have verified everything of the first 5-7 videos and to my surprise that it's all true until I stopped checking except for big truths to only find they are also true

RUclips MIL GRACIAS SIEMPRE ❤💕.
@XzorlachX It's called "Lux Aeterna". Requiem For a Dream is the movie it was written for. Those who have seen this incredible masterpiece of a movie will probably agree that its awesome soundtrack is actually more sad than epic. Almost apocalyptically sad. Thomas Bergersen's "Illusions" is something different. A unique piece of music that stands on its own. Atmospheric, spine-chilling, climactic, intense... and yes, epic as fuck. Creating something like this requires really great talent.

Only the last few weeks I have come across this kind of Music, and the closest that I can think of are from the action Movies, and I have to say, this style of music just blows my mind, it moves my emtions and if music can do this then the music has done its task. I use this style of music when I train and Thank you to all for posting this and also to those who wrote the music too, I bow down to you with respect.
My speakers weren't able to handle this pure epicness ... now I have to buy new and better ones, but listening to Thomas Bergersen's masterpieces absolutely is worth buying new ones!
Just bought the album. Very well crafted. I am definitely buying Stormdrum 2 and Symphonic Choirs soon!
My favourite one from TSFH/Thomas Bergersen.
As I sit listening to this..flashes from my past comes back to haunt me..good and bad.,faces and names and places I been too..what a memory I have..lol. Sad and happy at the same time
I've been thinking lately, as an American citizen, seeing this country become a complete nightmare and our government not caring, maybe I should run for congress. I've been thinking about having this as my campaign theme song to help put fear back in our leaders' minds. Show them that the working class are the ones with the powers and that we're going to take it back.
Can't tell if I'm cold or if it's just this song giving me goosebumps.
This is amazing.... I can't believe I just found it. Sadly I've accidentally been listening to someone's rehost of this all day. They barely cited you. I'm so glad a friend corrected me...
1:06 My favorite part
same, I could listen to it for a whole 10min
