  • Last week I do some mistakes. Because of my "blackout" and because of it's multiband Option I call it "the blackout endfed"
    Please watch carefully.

Nothing more to say. Theory and facts are brothers but not the same person. So antennas. Good job!

This was very helpful. Thank you for the demonstration and excellent explanation!

Thanks for the correction. Why do you need a 1000v capacitor when operating at QRP levels?

Well done, great! A very interesting video, although I am a supporter of a tuner instead of a transformer. The fact is that the antenna resistance varies depending on the conditions, and the tuner allows you to perfectly match, and I think the losses in L-Match are less.

Yes correct but minimalistic and lightweight is my passion.
But mostly I am using symmetrical and tuner length antennas. That is the best gain

@@QRP.lifestyle that's right, but I make tuners the size of a transformer))

Cna I use 1000uF instead of 100uF capacitor!? Many thanks and very interesting video.

Just to mix things up here is a quick video watch?v=AjH1iesDWJI on QRP small toroid "Fair-rite 2643625002" Its claimed to be less then 0.77dB at 10m. I haven't tested this myself. Prob end up disassembling it and using the large toroid for a spare CMC

I experimented a lot with this small toroid and used more efficient windings. You'll find my document that describes a 7-band EFHW for portable opration.

Just to confirm. Is it 1:36 or 1:64? Thanks

When you put metal inside toroid you will have indutance changes. So the conector body inside toroid seems to me not a good Idea!

It is brass but in fact this antenna works, this is the thing

The inductance doesn't really matter, only the transformer ratio.
