I personally prefer to play Ira on 1 Kodachi and 1 Needle. Kodachi for 1 into Needle for 3 is great value, and it means that there's a lot less chances of your opponent breaking the Needle unless they give you a D React that blocks 4 (and I run Concealed Blade for that edge case). I personally just think that getting that extra value every turn is amazing, but 2 Kodachis is definitely the stress free version where you know your weapons are safe.
Yeah, I sadly just don’t want to take that chance. The entire list is built on having two weapons that’s how you get your value so even the chance of needle breaking is too much for me.
@@TCGTALKYT that's totally fair! I think it depends on the matchup for me. Assassin or Gaurdian? No way I'm bringing a needle. Wizards (maybe not Verdance), Brutes, or general aggro matchups? Yeah. I'll take it. They probably don't run too many block 4s, and if they burn one on a needle I can re-equip later, that means they didn't use it on a bigger attack.

Spent the last few days testing everything and swapping cards just grinding down and refining. Very excited for the opportunity to bring this character to cc
Love the video! I’m playing a more aggressive version of the deck that can shift into a midrange plan as well. I’m using tiger stripe shuko and I have some tiger cards sprinkled in the deck. Whirling mist blossom is one of my pet cards and I can’t bring myself to cut it lol
For teh midrange list, if the Breeze Rider Boots effect isn't that relevant but the 1{d} is, that means Pouncing Paws could be played instead, replacing Pounding Gale (or censor) by Mauling Qi and adding Pouncing Qi(B). Also Dishonor should be somewhere in the list in lieu of some of the2{p}/3{d} blues; y'know just to send a message ;-)

I wish there was a ninja only format or tournament. They got us hooked with welcome decks thinking they would be viable forever then we got hit with arcane damage, the bane of my existence lol
Hey tcgtalk, what about subbing out 3x Flying Kick for 3x Bingo? That card blocks three and can go again or draw a card! Also I would put 1 Needle in the SB against decks you know dont have dreacts .
The problem with bingo is you have to have an additional card in your hand to reveal in order to get that. And a lot of times you don’t have that card available. So I’d rather get the +2 attack value. The problem is there is no true deck without defense reactions now since mechs can run block cards to break your needle . And if she is even remotely relevant in the meta, they will probably do that along with every other deck putting them in the side. Too risky for a deck that NEEDS to keep its weapons the whole game. I think some people are used to blitz where teams go shorter so there is a less likely chance of your needle breaking.
Hey I think you need to add looking for scrap in your list as blue doesn't matter it's great sb card as you know vs anything that you need to rush down
That sounds like a good addition however since it’s not unconditional go again in my deck the two block really hurts it the only time I want a two block is if it’s razor or an unconditional go again card

IMO, Pouncing paws + Blue Pouncing Qi is better than running breeze rider boots, its late game tiger for 1 + 0 for 2 go again

I dont think the aggro deck goes big enough, needs to go bigger than that 😉
Even bigger than that is a great card as well. I played it in my blitz list.
