I respect Oli's attempt to make Cena somewhat likeable in his story. I'm under the camp that main event babyfaces are inherintely cool, it's just that babyface material is hard to get right. It's easy to write the bad guy, you just have to make them as respectable, intimidating, and efficient as possible. But to create someone who the audience has an investment for, the good guy, requires a bit more finesse and a lot less excess storytelling. That's why I have more investment in babyfaces actually overcoming their challenges rather than the same-old "come to the dark side" shtick. Cena, in Oli's story, was made to be a gutsy warrior without him turning on his own principles. He made Cena into an actually viable underdog. That's insane.
Oli did that and i respect his attempt to fix the idea, but Adam fixing not only mania 29 but also making Takers streak end feel massive it's just a chefs kiss
Adam and Oli, two wrestling RUclips's megastars squaring up twice in 2 years, and fantasy booking the feud of two wrestling megastars who squared up twice in two years. It's just poetic. How can you not love wrestletalk.
Triple H retiring Rock to start the Authority is actually great. It can give Roman more personal motives to "fight the system" And when he become wwe champion he says "I did it for family. I did it for the Rock... Uce"
Here's the problem with this video. There is literally no way anyone can beat Adam Blampied in fantasy booking. He was really good at Whatculture, but, he's taken his story telling to another level at wrestletalk or partsfunkown.
@@fishyboi98 that's the problem with this series as a whole. The New Day triple threat and the WWE vs AEW winners won without the booking being abouy the topics as well. I think the community shouldn't be the one determining the winners.

Yeah it was a great rebooking of mania 29. But that wasn’t the assignment. The assignment was twice in a lifetime. Adam is gonna win on name value alone. Not because he did the better booking. If anything the only twice in a lifetime Adam did was the rock and Cena being in a cop car.
@@Various_forms_of_Doormamu no! Adam booked a way better WrestleMania 29 than Oli Davis! Only good thing about Oli's was the idea of a triple threat at WrestleMania 29 which has been said by fans since CM Punk lost the title at Royal Rumble.

This one is actually difficult for me to cast a vote for. Adam, as always, is the patron saint of fantasy booking...but he didn't follow the assignment at hand. Oli actually rebooked it, but Adam just sort of went "Lulz...nope...not gonna do that...", rebooked around it, and pretended it didn't exist. If I voted with my heart I would vote for Adam but in this instance the vote would be going to the wrong person. For that reason alone my vote goes to Oli.
Same. I love Adam's presentation and storytelling, buy he didn't really follow the program this time, so Oli gets the win, but mostly because his was quite good as well.
I pick Oli as winner here because he followed the assignment. Adam didn't want to, and while his story was tremendous, it answers a question that wasn't asked. Big credit to both gents, but rebooking something by not booking it to happen at all means it wasn't rebooked. Thus, theoretically, it cannot qualify as a winning entry.
@@honeyjm8324 I agree. By the same token, Oli could have said “I’m booking the Rock vs Shawn Michaels instead because that more exciting.” People would’ve much rather seen that than the rock versus Cena, it would’ve been a much better match, but it would not have been the assignment. If Oli ignored the rules the same way that Adam did, he could’ve still beat Adam.
Well then you could look at it like this: Rebooking it doesn't necessarily imply that you rebook a different variant of the initial booking. Just that the initial booking was made into something else.
Both were really, really good… but Adam’s is so satisfying in that he took multiple storylines that could have been so much more and made them excellent.
It's a really cool and interesting story to tell, but viewing it would be a good chunk lamer. I think olie's was the better one actually. but they are both nice fantasy bookings
Adam's flair for the dramatic and storytelling prowess is always top tier, but I think Oli really brought his a-game and they're pretty even for me. So my vote goes to Oli, because not only did he provide a very solid booking that fixed many of the problems from the original run, but he actually followed the prompt, and as a d&d dm I appreciate proper rules following.
Damn, only if WWE did this kind of long-term storytelling. Cena's descent into a losing streak over 3-4 years, then turning heel to break Taker's streak would have been the greatest wrestling storyline of all time. Also, Oli did a great job. Rock winning the MITB, and both him and Cena turning heel within months was just crazy.
Honestly, I preferred Adam's booking. But I found myself agreeing with Luke's point about it not matching the brief. So I voted for Oli because he did what he was told. But good job on both ends. Quick idea for a future video though, rebook Austin's heel turn. I've got an idea on that which I think is quite good where Austin turns Tweener first and then heel at Invasion.
Oli definitely deserves this win, because he stuck to the brief and his booking was pretty good too. But Blampied's booking, is pure art. That's fine, Tarantino has not won the best director oscar yet either :)

“Crime scene red and accident blue” is the most PRETENTIOUS thing I have ever heard. Good. On. You. Adam. I didn’t think I could love you any more than I did and you raise the bar once again.
Watched the whole video through, enjoyed both just about equally, Oli did a great job but I did go with Adam's at the end. Great job all around though!
When Adam said that Paul Heyman said that "Brock had diverticulitis, but he's better now. And he's going to extract..." I was 100% thinking he'd say "that title from your hands like they extracted my client's colon."
I think everybody can agree with that but WWE blatantly lied to our faces by doing it again which made that whole thing a bunch of utter nonsense. SMH.
Luke got it exactly right, Oli’s should have won. He stayed within the confines of the challenge and did a terrific job. Adam kinda phoned it in. But Adam is just so entertaining in everything he does he has a large lead
Adam put a lot of work into his booking, but didn’t book the right thing. It’s like not wanting to do grammar homework so you instead write an incredible story. You put a lot of time and effort into that story and it really shows, but it wasn’t what you were supposed to do
@@reddeath5791 My problem is that both should be disqualified. Oil for a simple but *critical* mistake that lost me. You can’t book the audience. There was a still a huge possibility for the crowd to go, “Let’s go Cena/ Cena Sucks!” Adam can happen without luck, Oli’s cannot. That’s why I gave it to Adam.
All of you are crazy. Oli's booking was absolutely better, and he actually did the assignment. It was ridiculous and silly, and it was just wrestling at it's core. I loved it
I vote Oli. Both were excellent but I chose Oli because while we all know Adam is a superstar, he didn't book "Twice In A Lifetime." And, Oli stepped his booking game up immensely. Well done, gents.
I know people complained about the concept of "twice in a lifetime" But Can we talk about How Cena and Rock's tag team match at survivor series was labeled "Never Before and Never Again" But then years later for a Wrestlemania squash match they teamed up....again >end of an Era >Once in a Lifetime >Never Before Never Again >Ric Flair Retiring
Adam's booking is better but that's because he didn't stick to what Twice in a Lifetime is. It's a poor storyline but that's literally the constraint that both had to stick to, Oli gets my vote for actually sticking to the assignment
Both amazing booking ideas. Oli met the brief and didn't in a fun and fresh way. Adam told a great story, which was accented by his fantastic storytelling. My issue with Adam's is that his fantastic storytelling doesn't play out in the same way while watching a continuous wrestling show. He told a movie with recalls and beautifully tied up story notes like the dead man walking line. We wouldn't see it like that in the real viewing. The moment he refers back to it in the video is great, but wouldnt have that impact live.
If wanted, Adam's story could get back to the prompt pretty easily. Keep the opening to WM30 the same with all the legends coming out, but have Rock throw it to the screen where there's footage of him and Cena in the cop car from that Raw. Rock shows a 2. Cena shows his usual ok sign which kinda looks like a 30. Cenas music hits and he comes down to join the promo. Eventually, Hogan, the host of WM30, sets the match of Cena vs. Rock with Stone Cold as ref.
Adam not only stayed away from the prompt, but also, his anthology style, "Pulp Fiction" booking would, I think, just not work when presented chronologically, with that go-home RAW being too stacked, and the overlaps (especially the Rock and Cena in the cop car) wouldn't work in real time. It was a nice story, but Oli's story was veeery fun and much more focused, with a Corporate Hollywood Rock and a tweener Cena (which will indeed get him cheered).
Gotta say Oli for actually sticking to the subject matter and for Yoshi Tatsu I like Adam's past bookings but it's like he made 3 fantasy booking for 1 Mania to avoid booking twice in a life, which was the point of the video 😂
You know what, screw this. Oli wins because he wrote the assignment perfectly and very funny I dare to say, that Yoshi Tatsu thing has really cracked me up on the floor, you got me Oli, you really got me. And also, be more confident with yourself, because the story was great; as Adam pointed out, you made The Rock and Cena turning Heel, while Punk remained Face, basically? So I pick your story, Oli, as a perfect assignment. But also, I pick Adam re-booking of WM 29 (except for the Cena wins at Mania 30 against Taker, The Streak should have stayed intact). Adam you're just glorious in terms of booking, and this WM 29 that you re-booked makes a helluva sense. So to me, nobody of you two loses, I just can't decide which story is better than the other, so I think it ends in a Draw, because both of them were really, really, really good.
Oli deserves the win cause he actually booked twice in a lifetime. Try telling your professor you did a different subject on an essay because you didn't like the one given. Don't matter how good it is you didn't do the proper assignment.
Both were great! I went with Adam just because it was so interesting and created multiple amazing storylines. I don't know if there is anyone that can top Adam.......yet.....
Twice in a lifetime of WWE: John Cena vs The Rock Twice in a lifetime of WrestleTalk: Adam Blampiad vs Oli Davis Makes sense that the TIAL of WT is a match of booking TIAL
Oh the nostalgia of twice in a lifetime. I was a little boy so excited to see Rock vs Cena. I loved the match when I was little (haven’t seen it since..probably won’t like it now) but I will say this about it. The Rock going for a 5 knuckle shuffle but then being caught with an AA (a reverse situation from the end of WM28) was a fantastic near fall and Cena going for the People’s Elbow only to stop and sucker The Rock in for an AA only for that to be countered but a Rock Bottom was also a brilliant near fall. There is good stuff in Twice Of A Lifetime. The main one being the video package. If this was WWE’s plan since 2012 as this 3 WrestleMaina arc then fair play to them for sticking with it but also CM Punk got massive within those 3 years and I think it should have been a triple threat with his title on the line.
If the topic was Rebooking Wrestlemania 29, Adam would be the clear winner. Doesn’t change the fact that it was an amazing booking. The cop car connecting all the storylines was incredible
I agree with what Luke said about oli. For someone who wasn't confident, his was a lot better than he led us to believe. And THANK YOU ADAM for doing the punk and taker streak vs streak match. It writes itself with the marketing, I can't believe they didn't go with it. I love Adam's booking but since it was supposed to be about twice in a lifetime, I'd give it to oli.
I'm sorry, but Rock defending the title against Yoshi Tatsu not once, but TWICE is the funniest thing ever.

When Adam said that Paul Heyman said that "Brock had diverticulitis, but he's better now. And he's going to extract..." I was 100% thinking he'd say "that title from your hands like they extracted my client's colon."
Adam's gonna dominate the voting but those who have watched the video know that Oli's booking was much better.
Maybe. Olis was the same story with slightly different window dressing. Adam's was a great story and didn't rehash.
Thought they forgot, excited to see what's booked!
Because of the story that was supposed to be told, Oli won this by a county mile.
But of course, as always, Adam's bookings are pure perfection
This feud should have stayed a "once in a lifetime" feud.
I loved it
That yoshi tatsu thing got me so good
Love these…funniest thing though is that Oli starts his booking…”The Rock just.” And commercial! Lol
I vote Oli. Both were excellent but I chose Oli because while we all know Adam is a superstar, he didn't book "Twice In A Lifetime." And, Oli stepped his booking game up immensely. Well done, gents.
I know people complained about the concept of "twice in a lifetime"
But
Can we talk about
How Cena and Rock's tag team match at survivor series was labeled
"Never Before and Never Again"
But then years later for a Wrestlemania squash match they teamed up....again
>end of an Era
>Once in a Lifetime
>Never Before Never Again
>Ric Flair Retiring
Didn't Adam kinda book "Twice in a Lifetime" during "How Adam Would Book 'Embrace the Hate'"?
My thoughts actually.
Not really. It was just a storyline that happened to include Twice In A Lifetime in its timeline
I thought Christmas was over, Then we got this!
Adam's Go-Home Raw was absolutely fantastic. It's crazy and balls to the wall, but it's going to be good television!
"Levesque Yourself Before You Wreck Yourself" and "WA-BOO-DOO!" get me every time.
One big problem with Davis' booking: The Rock didn't talk about Tatsu with any fake Chinese.
Man I love these videos. I need thrice in a lifetime where they book each other’s dream matches🤙🏻
Oli followed the rules and his booking was more fun! Oli for the win!!
Adam is so good at his craft he deserves a six part Docuseries
i have been looking for this booking video for what feels like years. i kept looking through adams booking videos and thought i was going crazy
Gotta say Oli for actually sticking to the subject matter and for Yoshi Tatsu
I like Adam's past bookings but it's like he made 3 fantasy booking for 1 Mania to avoid booking twice in a life, which was the point of the video 😂
How is that there's already people commenting about whose Booking was better 20 minutes after a 43 minutes video was uploaded?
Blampied presentation on this was just , surreal, I now want a totally scripted like cinematic version of wwe , that opening was chef kiss
Whilst I enjoyed Adam's, Oli actually stuck to the brief. I did enjoy Oli's too so him sticking to the brief isn't the only reason I'm voting for him
You know what, screw this.
Please do more of these!!!
I would love your booking ideas on the Aces and Eights TNA storyline
Twice in a lifetime of WWE: John Cena vs The Rock
Twice in a lifetime of WrestleTalk: Adam Blampiad vs Oli Davis
Makes sense that the TIAL of WT is a match of booking TIAL
And still, King of RUclips Fantasy Booking... Adam Blampied
I actually liked both storylines
But as I watch more of Adam's bookings I'm leaning more towards him
Also the rock/triple H thing was hilarious
Oli's booking was glorious, it got my vote
What a nice video to wake up to. I'm certainly a mark for Adam but I'm going into this with absolutely no bias. Good luck lads.
Lol the Tarantino style chapters for Adams rebooting were brilliant 👏 bravo sir xx
This was Oli's best effort vs Adam being Adam. I watched and will vote Adam because his entire arc is what I prefer but both were excellent.
And the thing is that Rock and HHH never met 1on1 at WM. Great job by both Oli and Adam!
MORE of this!
Adam is the best in fantasy booking
A suggestion for next episode: the last Lita's run in WWE
This is the greatest Wrestling Rivalry on record.
One year later, anyone still here
I love how Adam acknowledges the fact that he’s the only one keeping this channel alive
I liked Oli David one. Because that was the topic asked for.
We need this series to come back
Oh the nostalgia of twice in a lifetime.
Oli’s booking is how I would want Cody’s “heel” turn to be. “If u like me, I’ll fight for u…if you don’t, I’ll fight you”
I agree with what Luke said about oli.
Watched it all and still vote for Adam, like I have with all of these I just vote for what I would of been happier to see actually happen.
First time.. thoroughly enjoyed it...!!
