Sunday Spectrum was a music program that went to air on two consecutive weekends in June, 1990 as part of Southern FM's final test transmission. At the end of the month, the station went off air temporarily as its staff prepared for full time broadcasting which commenced in November of the same year. Based in the Melbourne bayside area, Southern FM has broadcast continually ever since that time.
