Probably one of my fav youtube channels and presenters .... dude seems legit honest and not just a guy who owns a guitar store .. an employee who gives a fuck!!!! LOVE IT
Picked one of those up in that same color. Butterscotch Blonde. It is pretty sweet. I play mine through a 5e3, sounds great, still playing around with the tones.
Guy is a great reviewer... I have to say, every Fender I have ever bought has needed a bit of work out of the box. My Player II needed the bone nut adjusted because it was binding. For a $1,400 guitar I would figure they would come a little more perfect.
I ordered one but the butterscotch is nowhere near that yellow, its more natural colored. Sounds great, love the toploading bridge as it makes bending easier. Replaced strings right away with ghs boomers and it doubled in tone quality.
They change colors with different lighting. I got the Pro ll Stratocaster Pine natural. I have Alotta different pics they all different. Great demo of the Butter scotch blonde
@@DonVal86 The Ultra also sounds great if you are wondering. Really nice feel for a Telecaster. I tried some regular teles out at store and found them uncomfortable.
How're you finding it? An considering getting one but reservations on it being pine and a soft wood. Does it seems stable? Concerned screws could tear out or that it could ding easily. Also, is it balanced or neck heavy? Sorry for loads of questions, it looks and sounds ace and I'm sure you're happy but I want to make sure. Thanks
Yes! However, that would undermine their Custom Shop guitar sales. Nash or Mark Jenny is the way to go if you want a nitro finish. Or some other non-Fender brand. Their Highway One 2005 tele has a nitro finish though. The only one I'm aware of in the non-custom shop range.
Here's the crazy thing, I bought a sg supreme via a few videos on RUclips,1 of which was pmt, I now looking for a telecaster to complete my collection and here we are again 😂
Definitely better sounding than my 2022 model Player Telly (MIM) which has the same color scheme. My high notes are rather tinny and overbright compared to yours. Would you be sound kind to send me clean EQ settings that may rectify my problem. I use a Marshall 100 watt V/S Valvestate. That is if you could think up some.
Now that could almost - very nearly almost - convert me from a Stat fan to a Tele. Must think about that . . . . MmmMmmmmmm Trouble is, I assume it's stil la beast of discomfort to play when sitting down. Excellent and varied demo without unnecessary wanky shred.
@@teleguy5699 I got one of these from a Black Friday sale - Butterscotch - like the video - getting acquainted with it. My first maple fingerboard instrument - I'm liking it: weird though, not to be looking down at dark rosewood or ebony.
@@ralex3697 the American professionals just lost their value by $200, assuming the professional doesn’t get replaced and deemed obsolete by a new flagship model, you can expect it to appreciate in price by $200 in maybe 23 years. I had never spent more than 500GBP on a guitar before I bought one of these after I cam into a bit of cash. Managed to get it for 1250USD after earning a little money. I have loved almost all of my other guitars but this one absolutely blows everything else I have played out of the water.

Well said!!
Can we all admit with this dude playing he could dang near sell any guitar
He is really a great player
Make anything sound good
SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!!
Finally, something great to come out of 2020!
Just wanted to say you are consistently a great guitar gear reviewer!
Truth!!
Good to hear a guitar being demonstrated showing us all the clean tones and not just overdrive and distortion !
I love this guy’s energy. Makes his playing more fun and interesting
best part is my boy Dagan's description of the neck. ''It got what is called a supernatural finish which feels natural............ but it's super''
Fender is going to sell a lot of those.
Very pleased to say that I've just ordered this exact guitar from the Newcastle store 🙌🏻
Picked one of those up in that same color. Butterscotch Blonde. It is pretty sweet. I play mine through a 5e3, sounds great, still playing around with the tones.
How did the energy grease for the balance?
hey Dagan love your videos. You and Andertons are the only guitar youtubers who I think provides us with a good demo and a good review
We appreciate that! We also love the guys at Andertons too!
Best video I've watched on the Telecaster model as far as making me wish to purchase one goes. What an amazing guitarist. Many thanks Indeed.

I've had this Tele for over a year now, it's great
Brilliantly constructed review, lots of tone options demoed, well done 👍

You probably have the 75th anniversary version. I’ve noticed those don’t have the aged yellow color compared to the regular ones.

70 year old technology and they did it on the first try
Bought one today. Within a minute I knew I needed to own it.
Have you compared it to he Ultra? Not sure but seems like the Ultra is missing a bit of the sound.
@@gutenbird Not yet. I gotta get my hands on one. All the stores near me have been low on supplies :/

Just bought the dark knight blue colour! Had too it was just to gorgeous to pass up on!🍺🎸🇨🇦

Mine arrived last week, thanks guys, it's fantastic!👍
The black one is so perfect. Black body maple neck.
It’d be badass if they could make it in a nitro finish as well.

The fender american original is an option
great review as always
Gorgeous upgrade to the best axe in the business.

Amazing guitar. My favorite guitar is a fender. Have a wonderful day.
Me too
Love Fender

now if only i could afford one

Fantastic player
Gorgeous guitar
dude u sound the best on this guitar
He's the Russell Brand of guitar.
Nice guitar. Nice playing.
I need nitro, ash body and jumbo frets.
As soon as I saw this vid I said ok here is where to go to see if the this tele can rock out
Dagan is the goat
great for the modern player but not even Fender Ultras have stainless steel frets

Surprised it's alder and not ash wood for the body. Still looks amazing tho.
Ash is getting scarce.

Dagan is a cool cat plays great & well knowledgeable about the gear
$1499 US honestly doesn’t feel overpriced *at all* for one of these. Good deal. But I’ve never spend more than $400 on a guitar.
It is 2239.00 in Canada
This guitar will not lose its value, gorgeous

What is better the ultra or the professional
Professional
Ultra

Nice work :)
Dagan ,where are these made brother ?
Which ones are pine ,which ones are ash ?
Thanks as always 🙏🤘🔥🎸
pine !! and usa
Pine is the ones that show wood grain. Alder the rest. Ash is for vintage and custom models because of scarcity.

“I want that”
Still prefer yosemites, according to my taste.
Yes, nice but this is grittier and better
Thanks for getting rid of that nasty Orange you were demoing with - I can hear how nice this guitar sounds.
It’s pine

If only they made the alder with the butterscotch Pine finish.

1700 for one is a lot they are so familiar to the fender plus series.
It sounds very late 50's remind me of la-bommba Richie valance......

I've just bought a butterscotch blonde pro11 and it is a pine body which makes it a bit lighter.
