I don't think she's a villain, she's trying to protect the things we humans destroy with no thought what so ever about it. We need plants to survive, the give us so many things vital to our lives. Humans are the villains in this situation, she's speaking for the things that don't have a voice and fighting for them. She's very passionate about the earth and nature.
