We both said the stila glitters and I found it funny how we thought the opposite for setting sprays 😂😂 thank you again for doing this video with me!! Loved your choices. I will be staying away from some of these for sure. Btw I love your background
I loved your tips, per usual! Oh I know, I have a conflicted view about setting sprays. I feel like I wouldn't have gotten into them if it weren't for youtube! We really are all over those dried out Sila liquid shadows haha 🙄
Came from Ale’s channel ❤️🙌🏻 happy to be here ! When I saw the ita brush I almost died ... I love it to pieces ... mine has been used an abused for the past 8 years and I adore it ! Use it everyday !
Hi Jordana! I'm glad you got good use of yours. Aparrently we have the original version, it has since been replace with a synthetic version (hence the poor start rating on sephora). Since I gravitate toward synthetic bristles for complexion products, I've become more sensitve. It might soften after more use, mine has not been given enough love - thats for sure. Thanks for stopping by.
Here from Alex's channel! Hi!! I LOVE the PAW PAW sponges and they now have a slanted version of the same pink PAW PAW sponge! Which I love because I actually love the Real Techniques sponge. I tried a Beauty Blender and it literally started to fall apart in a month. I'm glad I got it on sale for $14. Even then, it was not worth it. I also didn't love the sponge itself. I found myself surprised people like Beauty Blenders enough to spend that much money on a freaking sponge. Great video and collab!
I have the beveled edge one too, it's wonderful since the surface area covers more ground. I was one of those beauty blender lovers beause I felt the dupes were too hard, but I'm so glad we have AOA PAW PAW songes now! Thanks for stopping by!
I have stopped buying makeup like I used to. I feel so much better now knowing I use what I currently have, well except for lipsticks since we wear 😷 love this video!
I cannot believe I used to get sucked into keeping up with beauty makeup items that I saw Beauty Gurus rave about. At one point it was so stressful because just as I saved enough to buy a high end product boom 5 more came out and were being recommended by these channels. Glad I’m so over that. I’m focusing on using up what I currently have. These days I as well enjoy a more hydrating natural look, especially with foundation and concealer. Do you recommend any must have hydrating concealers?
agree! I enjoy beauty channels but I find it best to use them to find out if products you want are worth it or not! But not to buy everything they recommend or you’ll end up broke lol! It’s easy though to buy into the hype that you always need the newest thing I’m glad you came to that realization ❤️ also I know you didn’t ask me but my fav hydrating concealers are the elf hydration camo (more medium coverage) and rimmel lasting radiance (more light to maybe medium coverage)
I needed this recommendation too! I'm never bothered enough to research under eye concealer, so I've been rotating through PR samples for years. It's nice to know that there's an affordable option from elf. I have the other rimmel one from the stay matte line and it's a bit meh.
Unfortunately, I don't have solid recommendations on those right now. My stash is mostly PR at this point, so I use my skincare to compensate. The last comment about the elf hydration camo sounds like a nice bet. The it cc cream is nice, but my gripe with them is their color range and I did a wear test with it and wasn't impressed with longevity.
Alexa Likes I’ve never tried that one! I prefer a hydrating look since my skin is dry esp around my undereyes. The rimmel concealer claims to have vit c radiance pearls and while I don’t care for skincare in makeup it does have a dewy look because of it!
@@helenavasic9989 Me keeping up with beauty products stemmed from on going self esteem and mental health issues I struggle with. For some (in this case me) I felt the need to fill voids and put a band aid to my struggles by buying and buying makeup or beauty products. I came to the realization that it wasn’t helping me, as I was trying to mask my issues. Yes also part of it was to keep up with the newest item but at the same time there were more reasons beneath the surface that I was struggling with or should I say that I still struggle with. It was an addiction for me. The Elf hydrating concealer in Medium Sand (I believe that would be my shade) is always out everywhere I go, but I’ve been wanting to try it. Going to keep my 👀 eyes peeled for it.
Alex and Alexa collabing. I love it! As a fellow oily girl, I feel your pain on having your own dewy look in the warm months. Oh now I want to try the AOA Studio makeup sponge.
Right!?! We don't need luminous mists, but they feel good! Absolutely recommend that AOA PAW PAW super soft sponge, I ordered a bunch in 2019 but the only one I ended up liking was that specific one.
I loved the cc cream up until I did a wear test for it in 2019 and it under performed compared to other foundations. I was pretty disappointed since I used to tote it around as a fave. Oh setting sprays. haha
I love the sponge from AOA studio. I bought a pack of 6 during a sale around Black Friday and I was impressed. I think I paid around $7 USD for the 6 sponges.
I'm so jealous of y'all for the price. I paid $10 in duties when I made a $25 order there. It was still worth it. I hope they make a 6-pack for the beveled paw paw sponges.
I really love your look in this video! I also don't buy the Original Beauty Blender anymore. It costs way too much for something I need to replace in every couple of months.
I totally agree! That's been one of the reasons I don't reach for even the knock-off version as often because of the shipping to Canada (and I don't even want to imagine shipping to the EU). Thank you, Katariina!
I'm not even going to lie, being a person with dry lips there's something in that formula that works at not accentuating my cracks while still giving me an even tint. I can get a similar result from lipliner and sheered out gloss. I just can't justify the price hikes. It's *not* life changing, save yourself.

So true, Diana! My mask is stained from lip products, but I've been using lipliners mostly.
Ah I love Alejandra!! So exciting that you are doing this collab!
Me too! I've been watching her for a while and I'm so glad she reached out.

I don't really use setting sprays either! But I do love tarte shape tape and the it cc cream! 😅😁

Hi I came from Alex’s Chanle
I agree on the beauty blender sponges being overly expensive for a sponge
Thanks so much and welcome ;) !!
Slay Queen 👑 Lovely Video 💘💕💘
Thank you, Brix.
