Attempting the Chamonix vertical KM | HOW HARD CAN IT BE?!

  • We teamed up with trail running enthusiast, ‪@Daaaanjj‬ who has returned to Chamonix during the pinnacle week of trail running in the calendar year to take on the infamous vertical KM from Chamonix along the Brevent tramline to its midstation, featuring the new HOKA Speedgoat 6.
    A total of 1,000 elevation gain in 3.5km of running, and an approximate gradient of 26% the entire way.

    Great effort, well done. I did this run today to see how fast I could do it in and managed to get to the top in 1 hour 6 minutes, But I was dead at the top. It is a brutal but beautiful run.

    I did the VK last week as well.That was a soul crusher for sure!I used the Hoka Tecton 3's which were amazing.They were super grippy on the rocks at the end! Well done!

      yeah and the finish is further up than the station. written on the right hand side of the cliff as you turn left and follow the path.
