    I guess Moose didn't see the huntsmen on the first giant, or maybe he didn't think they'd do the damage they did when he sat the giant on the middle point because I thought that was odd, it basically gave the Empire a free kill and removed the threat there.

    Oh damn the hit boxes for landships are broken? Damn that's 2 out of 3 big centrepieces banned for ToD.

      The hitboxes for the dawi airship is also broken, units target the big balloon but only the actual ship part of the dwarf airship has a hitbox.

      Two of the three centerpieces are banned, while the third one is disappointing.
      I'm not saying that the Toaddragon is bad, but it isn't as powerful as it was made out to be.

    what an good looking battle, giants needed some support though ^^
    think a lot off good balance could be archieved by upkeep/price off elites and SE was effected by the amount off core units designed for supporting them.
    so artillary gets cheaper the more melee infantry you have; to a max at like 6.
    could mean we would see armies off goblins rocking 3-4 doom divers; and who wouldnt Love to see that ;D ;D
    wish doomdivers where not anti SE designed and a lot cheaper; generally i wish the less used artillary was a lot cheaper so a lot more used; doom divers, organ-guns, skaven flamethrowers, dwarf flamethrowers; etc.
    a lot off cool units never see play because they are just too expensive for what they are supposed to do and most off them just doesn't do it fast enough (the amount off doom-divers needed on a tank, dragon, big armored SE, for it to get enough dmg to matter anything is much too high so even if they sit and shoot all game the time it takes is just too long to matter; buffing their dmg like chorf arti, will just make it feel op and broken; it's a goblin smashing into you; not some demonically designed missile exploding with magic :P
    maybe having a lot more in a unit; like 12 doomdivers in 1 unit and lower their dmg some to match; could give them a place as they could be used semi-effectively against a lot off infantry regiments with that;
    just thinking

    love late game arti summon :D its the time where they dont easily get melee locked; which is honestly kinda hmmmm to see; every arti is just swarmed and then it stops "working"; just seems wierd and bad; maybe give arti a larger amount off entities (unit around the arti) to a regiment lvl; maybe having them like siege machines which need a inf regiment unit to attach to it to use it; that would actually be a super cool way to balance artillary out and make it not just get swarmed early and then thats it;

    It s strange to use bone giant as a mellee fighter. Its decent (maybe ) 4 artillery but it will never be any great.
    It is a lot of cap... So should it control some objectives?..
    But when bone giant is dead it weights zero)
    So its looks like u should kill the engineer first to keep ur army safe.
    Otherwise u loose a lot of cap and u didn't kill the main threat

    steam tank healing looks weird, id rather see it have more resist and higher hp;
    maybe limit/remove effective healing on SE who doesnt have inbuilt healing would be good

    It's odd to see the Empire thriving. As far as I know, they haven't always been the best in TW. Plus I played a ton of them in Age of Sigmar 3E and they were pretty low-tier. And now I hear they're not great in Warhammer Old World? But hey, at least they're good for now!

    Don't think I see a reason to take a boner in this match up. They got rekt. Maybe a later call in could work... Also, hierotitan power fantasy is big here lol. Constructs tend to suck tbh

      Sphinx could do work against land ships and tanks though, and knights of black rose

      Yeah, the problem is ushabti great bows are pretty common so empire is always going to bring counters for them, and most of those also counter giants which struggle to recoup their value as well as great bows.

      You say they got rekt, but one more than paid for itself and the other one could too if it wasn't send in melee like that. And to be honest they were so close to sniping the engineer which would be so good. Shame they didn't focus in him a bit more.

      I think he got greedy with 2, just 1 would have much more defendable and give you more money for other things like GB’s or maybe some better infantry, and then instead of trying to kill lord and him just getting healed the 1 boner could’ve just been picking off black rose models all game or sniping the caster if he was mounted to stop the burning heads

      Against 160 unit paper thin chaff skeletons that doesnt seem bad to me tbh.
      Steam tank is a big chariot and hes got that grenade launcher too.

      The steam tank is balanced,and the master engineer just barely pay for himself in this match. The land ship is just degenerate though.

    I swear every TK game I see with a boner giant they always get sent into melee and killed before they can use even 1/4 of their ammo, why not just keep it a tiny bit back with the necro and a chaff spear unit so it can actually do what it’s designed to do??

      Maybe because of the spent resources they don't have enough to protect? Or the spend makes it impossible to get a cap without them on it?
      It does seem very counter intuitive.

      @@CatharticSense true, cap weight is definitely a factor, I don’t actually play multiplayer I just watch all of turins vids so my brain likes to forget about capping points even though it’s a primary objective of the game mode

      It seems to me like they're used a good bit as a terror causing SEM that just happens to have a missile attack. And considering the price you're paying for them, it can be a little challenging to find a balance between their ponderous missile attack and the value they generate from being able to buckle off units with lower leadership.

    I do think the steam tank especially with a master engineer in it is a very good distraction carifex in which it can do well, no matter where it is and if it gets shot to pieces, well there's a bunch of other stuff surrounding them already ready to pounce. It's something you can't ignore. And I now think that the war machines are the empires monster units which fits the grounded empire style in which they don't use wild animals as their monsters but man-made mechanical monstrosities.

    This game was over in the first 5 minutes. At no point afterwards was there any real doubt about the outcome.

      The way healing works on vehicles is silly, there is no downside with technology here.
      Add to that unlimited ammo and watching a steam traction engine outrun a horse, meh.

      Seriously though, I dread to come up against the full empire now (not Markus's faction), when something is op on the campaign trail it makes for a 'brickwall' experience for other factions that come up against it.
      As Nakai I found the chaos dwarves hard, often needing two armies + autoresolve to win. If you don't have two armies you get to fight a one sided battle....

    You should not be able to heal Armored Vehicles with life magic. Its just stupid and too strong.

      Yeah I was really expecting the engineers to get an ability exactly like necrotects restore but for machines and they can’t be healed with magic anymore, seems very fair since there’s a lord AND hero engineer, whereas TK can only heal any constructs with hero
      Maybe an exception for engineer lord in ST because I think TK lords mounted on sphinxes can be healed with life magic and not necrotects but other than that all war machines should have to be healed with engineers, and you could probably add the same mechanic to chawi with their trains and engineers

      To be fair I imagine that life magic could easily wrap up wholes in the tank with wood/rock and somewhat fix it. For me it's not too much of a stretch of the imagination

    How the hell is engineer lord not banned? It gets at least 3k value every game without any effort. Even in the game you just showed the engineer lord had nearly 500 kills lol (without taking crumbling into account even)

      The problem here I think is he is too tanky, if he's comparatively cheap but does lots of dps then make him weak to melee or ranged. Instead, he seems as strong as any other character, but with awesome powerful ranged dps inc some with unlimited ammo.

      I'd ban it for sure.

    Empire in table top is a bad faction because their infantry is really bad and not cost efficient. They need upgrades to be good and their upgrades is too expensive for what it is and if they go bare-bones they are less efficient they Bretonian men at arms( they are basically men at arms with +1 WS and +1 Lds).
    The Empire in total war is now strong because the ridiculous stuff they got from the DLC which carry the rest of the rosters, the Empire before it was a C tier faction (very difficult to play) because their infantry is just not robust enough, they are lightly armored ,low leadership and doesn’t have any dedicated support that benefit them like a passive or good infantry support heroes (warrior priest and Empire captain is just awful and nobody even bring them these days). Your frontlines would just melt away upon contact and your missile wouldn’t even get a chance to do their jobs,also domination you need good infantry that’s sticky to hold. Not to mention the other stuff in the Empire faction before and after the DLC is sub-par at most. They need to buff state-troops and great sword on table top for the Empire to be at least competitive. For total war buff them and their support heroes and nerf the OP stuff, like at least give them 70 LdS to be better than marauders and men at arms for sigmar sake.
