I have family that think they are saved. They follow a "living prophet" and are convinced I'm the one that is lost. I'm praying for them all. They have not spoken to me in decades because I left that religion. My heart is breaking for them.

I also prayed that God would give you peace in knowing your own salvation and knowing that we can not make the decision for them. Dear brother steev In Matthew if you begin at 7:15 you will see that Jesus is addressing false prophets. If you look at the context you will see this and not doubt your salvation. If you have believed in your heart that Jesus shed His blood dying on the cross,was buried and rose to life three days later you ARE saved and sealed until the day of redemption. HALLELUJAH ! It's called faith, you have to believe in what Jesus did will be enough to save you!!!! Keep reading the Word and ask Holy Spirit to give you witness of this!
What is it about those verses that worry you? Salvation is a known, not a think so. You either know you are saved or you are not saved. Those verses are for false teachers who believe they are doing the work of God, but they are not.
I always suggest to read 1 John ....it has a good 12 point check list you can measure yourself against to see if you truly are saved.

The sad part is the vast majority of believers think they are saved but are not.
