- This is my latest track, built out of the base of my older song "afterburners"
and its a race-themed hard pumping trance track with orchestral elements!
took me about 15 hours in work-time.
( and yes, you heard right. i sampled curly from wipeout to kickoff my song. ~* :3 )

Even after 13 and a half years, this song still slaps! Thank you so much Waterflame for this song being apart of my childhood. Ever since, I would always listen to this again and again. The melody and the vibes just top notch! Finally, Lightspeed is probably my favourite song by you.

What I really like about waterflame's songs is that they tell a story behind it. And you can always imagine the scene of the story at different parts of the song when sound effects were added. Plus the sounds effect doesn't sound weird in the song.

I don't know why, but the stuff you make always makes me think there is something you want us to imagine while we hear it. In this one I imagine an epic futuristic race about 500 - 1000 years in the future with lots of perilous traps in it bent on the destruction of the ligthspeed vehicles on the track.

Wow. This is a pretty accurate interpretation of lightspeed. It is pretty fast, or maybe it just SOUNDS fast because the drumbeat is sixteenth notes. The melody at the beginning is also sixteenth notes. But this is a very energetic piece and very fast-paced. It did sound a lot like a race was happening, as you said in the description. This one was pretty good! I liked it.
