its a good way initially , better than digging and burying a tyre or such thing if no anchor points but needs some better way to attach the tiedown straps .

Is his helmet cockeyed? Is it supposed to be that way and am I just ignorant?
Why are most recovery ground anchors designed and used by Americans so bloody complicated and time consuming? Try a holdfast, much quicker.
