You should do Trailer Park of Terror. It's fun, shlocky, EC inspired fun with a real 80's movie feel, plus, it has the cast in character doing interviews in the special features like you like.
I'm as floored as you are that this is a franchise. I just don't know what else you can do with the first movie's premise (and I think the fact that they immediately veered into slasher territory with the sequels proves that lol). I've seen a couple of them, but it's mostly Ken and Robert speaking normally - just in costume. I think it's an unwritten horror law that you can't speak if you are Jason and wearing the costume, and hearing Kerzinger's chill af voice come out of him is strange 😂 The official weigh-in they did for their 'Fight' in Vegas was awesome though.
