| Masahito Sekita (関田誠大, born 20 November 1993) is a Japanese male professional volleyball player from Tokyo. He currently plays in V.League for Osaka Blazers Sakai and Japan men's national volleyball team. He used to be the captain of Japan U-21 national team in 2012 Asian Junior Men's

Sekita is the brain of the Japanese Team. Currently, I think Sekita, Russia's Grankin, Brazil's Bruno and US' Christenson are the best setters. They will go into volleyball history as some of the best setters ever!

Sekita is playing as Setter in Poland’s SuperLiga. Not a lot of setters are chosen as imports. It’s a testament of how good his setting skills is.
I remember a setter in japan, who played with Ishikawa and became No1 setter in japan's highschool VB once said: I'm no match for Sekita's skill.

If you think about Sekita is a lot more of a little giant than others on the Japan team like nishida cause he’s way way shorter standing at 5’9 and he’s blocking world class spikers even tho he can’t reach that high, I’ve seen a lot of his blocks and it really surprises me to see him able to block like that

The Japanese men's and women's team always change their hairstyle before competing in a certain league. It's one of their tactics to confuse their opponents. the women's team also mixes up its jersey numbers for the same reason

He’s good but they don’t have connection with Takahashi, Fuji have good connection with him. I remember the setter #7 in Higashiyama (teammate of Ran in highschool) he’s really excellent setter.

@@aldosusanto509 If you have to compare, he has Kenma's height, tenacity and floor defense skills, Kageyama's speed, precision and spatial awareness, Atsumu's ability to always get under the ball to prepare for a perfect set, and recently, I would say he's been able to get 100% out of his spikers like Oikawa
