I agree, I've started to practice Islam and learning my Religion and Implement it, I've Never ever felt so peaceful my whole life. It been 4 years since I was diagnosed, It been a year since I started practicing and Implementing My knowledge of Allah and his decree, My medications will be reduced soon InshaAllah by the psy the next months. Alhamdoulillah, Inner peace is a gem, finding Allah and your true purpose again heals your soul.
This is wrong explanation. A lot of hafidz, islamic teachers, good practicing muslim get problem about mental health. Quran never talks about a lot of illness. But you never said that diabetes doesnt exist.
I think the solution for depression is doing the exact opposite. Which is not obsessing this might look insane but it have worked for me and sometimes you just have to let go of things I know it may look stupid but it is worth it in the long run. Because you're living how you should and you're happy with the decree of Allah and worshipping him to the best of your ability ❤️ may Allah bless us all. AMEEN. AND. the shiekh is majorly wrong in this one, ep happen out of nowhere, you are NOT in your right mind you barely know day from night, can't eat drink or even sleep properly. it's like somebody slipped a drug into your drink and that drug effects stays for days, weeks if not longer. he's telling you he can't get out of bed to drink water becuase he is not in his right mind and ur telling him to pray and do thikr, are you sure ur not the insane one? thankfully Allah has healed me mostly and there are ways to metegate a full on episode but to deny it completely is extremely hurful, people die from this.

At least you know it goes, as long as it goes away eventually you know better days will come in sha Allah. I have OCD and same thing happens to me.
