@ 3:13 - there's a video that someone managed to get showing heat expansion just before the signals a few years back (A seriously "oh crap" moment - rod williams)
@AGHHbebuggered Yes we run to Dimbool towareds adelaide. Bells are from the Vigilance control, to keep driver awake or th train brakes will apply, No was not a Kiwi, he is a melbourne driver. cheers
Love all your Cab ride videos, keep them coming... really enjoy the long island cab rides, I live down that way and I'm sure you would see some interesting things on that route.. Question time, What would be your favourite locomotive to drive?? Any tips on gaining employment, it seems very hard to get a job... Any feedback will be appreciated.. Cheers mate..
@kutless22974 Dont know MH2, but XW4 is usually Perth - Woolongong (Bluescope steel trains) the X allows it to originate at any point with the end destination being port kembla - woolongong nsw.
@wannabetraindriver cheers, favourite loco, XR's and A's id say. NR's are comfortable on long trips though. It is hard to get into train driving, check online with rail operators from time to time, and job search sites, they are usually strict with applicants as they recieve so much interest. I wanted to drive as a kid and kept applying for every job i could every vacancy that came up, it paid off. now i do what i love. you need to pass an aptitude test, class 1 medical, 4 years on job training
1. have you been on the track to adelaide? 2. what the 3 bells for? 3. was that a kiwi (new zealander) on the radio as the NR'S passed?? @ about 4 min.20 sounded like it. please... post more, really enjoyed this vid
I know freights like MP2/MP4/MP9/MP5/1MP5 (to Perth), MC2/2MC2 (to Griffith), MA5/MA3/MA6 (to Adelaide), MS9 (to Sydney), MC7 (to The Rock), MB4/MB2/MB7/MB4 (to Brisbane) and all. Do you know the destinations for MH2 and XW4?
3:02, is this the spot where part of the track had buckled under ex stream Heat, and a train almost derailed but didn’t?? Think the poster (who posted the video was rod Williams) showed we’re part of track buckled ruclips.net/video/_LoXgN1QWZM/видео.html
Love the sound of in cab diesel locomotives! Every night I go to sleep with my head phones on and go for the ride!
Trains always have amazed me, from childhood to even now.
Good to hear!

Bernie Baker filmed that and he said it apparently derailed the train
@@AussieGunzel that was at airport west aka here 3:14
more of these fantastic videos please
That bridge shot was spectacular. Landscape kinda reminds me of Ohio. We ghave a lot of gravel pits in the area I live being close to several rivers.
2:16 there's an infamous video of a trespasser falling on to this track and narrowly escaping death

No, this train only goes Melbourne, to Griffith, with shunts at, Ettamogah, Bomen, and out on the branch from junee to griffith via nerranderra NSW.
I first watched this video about 3 days ago and since then I've had Second Chance (the song that was playing through Seymour) stuck in my head lol.
This video was filmed on the Craigieburn Line
It is beyond craigieburn

If you think you would get it, I’m sure you will. Whatever happened in my life was once a strong thought or desire.
