Romania is number 1 the most beautiful places I have visted. and that was 3 years ago it was so darn beautiful I still cant get over all its beauty!!! 👌👌👌👌
Bucharest is prettier in the summer. Secondly, there are more buildings which are well worth seeing like National Opera, Sf Elefterie Church, Sf Spiridon Church etc. When visiting the city, give them a try; you won't be disappointed.
I watched this Video in conjunction with using Google Maps on another webpage tab. Stop the Video and look up the Strada name in Google Maps; good way to do it. Then you know where you are. Greetings from an Australian who goes to Romania in a month :)
A tourist destination with low prices and beautiful is Romania. A beer is 1.5 - 3 EUR, coffee is 1 to 1.5 eur, a hot dog is 1.3 to 1.8 eur. A trip by train from Bucharest to the sea is 8 to 11 EUR (225 km). Most beautiful places in Romania is Sinaia, Brasov, Sighisoara, Sibiu, Iasi, Maramures, the Danube Delta. The capital (Bucharest) is reached in 2 to 3 hours in the mountains or the sea.
LOVE ROMANIA/DACIA! love&respect the WORK&SACRIFICES of Romanian people; but dislike the manner some locals (Gypsies)&foreigners treat this National Heritage, with arrogance&disrespect for the sacrifices of the Romanians, giving credit to foreigners for everything, as if they were "Gods" of the "modern times" (well they are just flesh&bones and will be eaten by the same worms after they die). Romanian People's House will Never belong to other nations or individuals! It belongs to ALL the Romanians, who sacrificed&worked for their country! NEVER to any other nation or to foolish international mobsters! NEVER American, NEVER German, NEVER for the mobsters and international thieves such as Donald Trump or others, who NEVER worked or knew what WORK meant, during their entire lives!
Thank you for this ,you should make a new video.Bucharest developed so much since then. The city is much more cleaner now , we made the Basarab Bridge , the Sky Tower , remade the Old City , we have a series of modern buldings in "Piata Victoriei" , AFI Palace Mall in Cotroceni and we have a Delta in the center of Bucharest wich is called "Vacaresti Delta" . This makes Bucharest look kind of sad , maybe because its filmed in autumn.
It's a shame really, Bucharest has great potential but most people here fail to see that. Still, things have slowly begun to pick up in the past 4 or 5 years, so i'd say we're slowly, slowly getting there. Oh and fortunately, those ruins in Lipscani that you mentioned have had their weeds cleaned and have been covered with a thick glass ceiling, complete with illumination. I'm actually surprised they didn't simply decide to dump a truck-load of cement over them 'to get it done faster'!
Very mean statements for a historical city. Shame on those who try to hurt it, and by the way we don't care about hate and snobbery. If you don't like it GO TO YOUR HOME and leave Romania alone.
In 1989, Romania was the second poorest country in Europe, after Albania.... Nowadays, they hold a better place in this ranking.... ......since as a result of the dissolution of the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia some new countries appeared on the map which are poorer than them ..
Officially its 2nd world but realistically its 3rd world . Oh well , things are improving as more investors are opening businesses ,more aid , albeit at a snail's pace but at least its in the right direction, I hope.
this video is old inaccurate plus the presenter is offensive and hater. he finds only the bad things, even when something is amazing he will find a way around to mock it. Besides, the CEC building or the Post Palace looks far more beautiful the the dull and simple Buckingham palace. Plus the Telephone Palace which is an ART DECO American Building. Also to mention the huge number of Art Deco building in Bucharest , and Art Deco is very rare in Europe.
third ?:)) lol... its second...after fist nations like germany france etc, romania is second...its the most richest and beautifull country in the east...last county with huge forests and wild life...
The changes in Bucharest the last couple years are remarkable. Today most of the streets this tour visits have changed almost beyond recognition.

It's 2024, and I was just in Bucharest for 5 weeks. Wow - it has come such a long, wonderful way! It's a beautiful city and I can't wait to go back.

Bucharest changed a lot in 5 years. It looks great now.
Holy goddamn Bucharest today looks so different from what I see here.
In 5 years it changed that much? Dayum
It is unbelliavable to see how much Lipscani has changed,in a good way, during the last 4 years
I like the soft pastel colors of some of the buildings.
interesting, very nice architecture

Bucharest has a gigantic parliament building and contains rich architecture.
A third of the old town of Bucharest was destroyed for building that monstruosity and the buildings around it. Where is the rich architecture?

Who donated what in 1909? Tsar Alexander II was killed in 1882. Nicholas II was tsar in 1909.

very nice review of Bucharest, one tip though - clip in some maps so people can see the location of the sites.. other than this excellent..

Ok, I understand, I love them to, but not everyone sees the street dogs, in a good way, if you understand what I want to say...
Why do you insist on those dogs, OMG!verry interesting, just dogs, in a documentary I have to see how a dog is scratching!
