Influential Artists: The Art of Ken Carlson

Ken Carlson is, one of if not my favorite wildlife artists of all time and it's easy to see why!
His ability to create believable scenes with abstract-like brushwork is the biggest reason his work resonates with me! Aside from that, his mastery of interpreting animal forms in an anatomically correct yet artistic manner is also worth noting. And of course, as a landscape painter myself, his ability to capture the habitat of the animals in his work is up to the standards of the worlds best landscape painters. Overall, Ken Carlson will always be on my short list of favorite artists!
