Hubby downstairs watching rubbish in the tv. Me - I’m snuggled up in bed watching a brilliant film. I just think these old films are so much better than tv and films of today. Thank you for downloading and I’ve also subscribed 💓
I saw a more recent version of this movie so I know who the murderer is. But it really amazes me how all the others folks parts are being played out. I never understood what Grayson's problem was. He was always so nervous and frightened. For a 1931 Movie - where "Talkies" were just coming out - this was well done.
I enjoyed this film quite a bit! The inspector reminded me of a younger" Lyndon Johnson w his physical appearance, attitude, demeanor. It was well-written,intriguing plot! Thanks4 Sharing,Mr.Lord!
Sound in that period was recorded on fairly primitive acetate records, which got worn and scratched. Short of digital restoration (expensive and perhaps not worth it for this movie) this is really the best you can expect.

Locked Room
Dang that old woman was hateful to the end.
it was Col. Mustard in the card room, lol
This is the exact same murder method used in 1939s The Mystery of Mr. Wong. I wonder if the murderer is the same.

Tracy, I bet YOUR sound won't be all that great when you're 90!
