I really enjoy these videos, even if they are all over the place because i’m in the same phase & it’s just nice to feel together in this crazy time. Also I wanted to share a tip to extend the life of fruit, esp after spending so much time washing. Make sure they are thoroughly dry & put them in mason jars! It works the best with grapes, strawberries & blueberries & pretty good with blackberries & raspberries, definitely longer than any other method i’ve tried. Give it a try!!

Putting strawberries in vinegar is not only because they been handled so much. But because in some strawberries there is little black bugs that live behind the seeds and soaking them helps to get them out.

Hi Allison! Wash your vegetables and fruit using apple cider vinegar because I read it was much more effective. I use organic because it’s not much more money anyway. Also, you must and that is a must make sure you are fruits and vegetables are completely dry before you put them in a container, they last so much longer that way, and do not mold. I do washing them. I lay them out on a. I think it’s called a dish drying pad with paper towel on it and I just leave it out until it is. They are 100% dry. I do like you do and put paper towel in the bottom of the container. I also put a paper a piece of paper towel at the top of the container to absorb any moisture and I do change it periodically this works 100%, I also found a container that has plenty of room for breathing or airflow is probably the better term lol. Never put your fruits or vegetables away wet😊

For the fruit to last up to 2 weeks after washing, it has to be 100% dry when you put it back in the fridge. Just FYI. I am lucky if fruit lasts 2 days at my house. But, the method of washing the way you did, and allowing to fully dry really works!

My hubby has been lately purchasing items on Facebook marketplace - love that your not doing venmo & the other weird stuff - keep it simple as your doing.
Grapes last longer if they are left on the stem, according to America's Test Kitchen.
I find pouches handy too. Saving so much time searching for loose items in the bag. Live the logos on yours
You can also put your fruit in mason jars unwashed and then rinse what you want each time. And honestly sometimes I don’t have time for that either. I’m from Kansas, I’ve probably already eaten my fair share of dirt and bugs.
Thanks for the info about the silicone plates for kids that taste like soap after being washed. I actually just opened the set we bought our kiddo a while ago.
Love the new mirror that's a great find. Please tell me he used a celing fan electrical box and not a standard one for the ceiling fan. If it's not attached to the roof framing, I forget what the boards are called, with a celing fan box the movement from the fan turning can cause it to fall after time.

You are totally fine the way you are!!! :) We are just happy to be able to be here with you!...Im the same way..I make a coffee and completely forget about..I know its iced coffee the ice dilutes it lol which makes it gross lol..maybe open up the kitchen area and then make a wider arch at the top near the ceiling?..does that make sense?
It does! We'll have to wait and see what we end up doing! Christian just told me yesterday that he now thinks we should open up the entire house and create an island in the kitchen where the stove currently is... stay tuned to find out what is actually feasible in this house!

Allison- I am old enough to be your mom, and I rarely wash my fruit before I eat it.😳 I have painted over wallpaper several times. It looked pretty good, but you should use a good primer first. Oh, and pretty mirror! Nice deal. Was that a mini iron you used on the patches? I think the black fan blades would look better.
It's a mini heat press from Cricut! Such a handy little tool for crafting! Thanks so much for hanging out and I'll be sure to prime before I paint!
