    This is by far the easiest and clearest crochet tutorial I have ever found! Working on the very end after following this through and it looks so great. I hope you will make more videos soon! And hopefully some more beginner friendly ones too! This gave me a lot of confidence and my family is very impressed 🤗 thank you so much, liked and subscribed ❤️

    I am really enjoying this tutorial. I love how you have detailed how to make it bigger as you go along, I always get my gauge wrong as I tend to crochet too tightly, so I needed that information to make sure I got the bottom to the correct size. Thank you so much! 😀🩷

    Thanks for an easy to follow video. I have just finished mine using your clear instructions. I made mine using 100% chunky ( Kung Fu) cotton Abbey Road (sold in Spotlight) in a burnt orange colour. It came out really beautifully.
    Thanks again 🙏🏼

    This was a beautifully-designed crochet. Who designed it, you? I love the way the pattern repeated, the way the bag edgings fitted with the design and everything about it. It looks excellent. I had a few problems around the handles, I would have preferred you spent a bit more time on those parts, particularly the second handle as it came to the end of the project and how it merged with the edging. But all in all, I really enjoyed making this bag and will make many more like it in different colors and yarns. Thank you!

    The transition from 7 chs to 3 chs is more even and looks better after the last row of 7 chs, to crochet a row of 6 chs, a row of 5 chs, a row of 4 chs, then a row of 3 chs. Much smoother transition.

I am ready to make another one. but might try a Cotton Yarn I LOVE THIS YARN SUPER SOFT From Hobby Lobby. in color # 7 :360 Eastern Nova. it is a rainbow stone wash look. cant wait to get started.

    Hello Julia, I wanted to ask about the increasing the second part ? where you stopped and did your 8 more rows, I did another row of increase because I wanted to make a Bigger bag, I continued row 10 as the increase then did regular 8 more rows, it just looks like a huge Dollie at this point ? Any suggestions as what I did wrong , or am I still on the right path, it just doesn't look like it has sides or doesn't not look like a bag hope you can Help this is my 2nd attempt , the first time it came out the same big doolie so I frogged it and started over. ughhh I really like the bag and pattern but want a bigger bag . thank you Kindly, Marla , or tell many how many rows to do after the 2nd increase section?

    • @deniseward002
      @deniseward002 3 месяца назад

      I tried making it bigger after the 8th row and took it out as it looked weird. I think to make it bigger, double the 'big loops" at an earlier stage, perhaps a couple of rows beyond the first doubled row. I'm not sure but that's what I thought would work.

    Written pattern to the best of my ability’s
    Ch 9 or magic circle
    (Slip st in 1st ch if you do ch 9)
    Row 1: [Ch 7, sc into ring] x 10 = 10 loops
    {use yarn needle to close hole if you ch 9. Pull end to tighten MC if you used the magic circle and weave in end.}
    Row 2: ch 7, sc in next loop big loop, place st marker in new loop, [ch 7, sc in next big loop] x 9
    Row 3-4: repeat row 2
    Row 5: {ch 7, sc in next loop, ch 7, sc in SAME loop} = inc. rep till end. = 20 big loops
    Row 6-9: rep row 2 = 20 big loops
    Row 10: increase once more here if you want a bigger bag, otherwise rep row 2.
    Row 11-18: rep row 2
    Row 19: [ch 5, sc in next big loop] x 20 = 20 big loops
    Row 20: [ch 3 sc in next big loop] x 20 = 20 loops
    Edging and handles : sc again in last big loop of last row, sc again in same loop. Sc in next sc. * 3 sc in each big loop, 1 sc in st in sc between loops *. Ch 60, skip 6 big loops, sc in sc right after 6th big loop. Rep * to * x 5. Ch 60, skip 6 big loops, sc in sc right after 6th big loop. Rep * to * till st marker
    Last row: (sc in each sc of last row, sc in each ch of handles.) x 2
    Fasten off and weave in tail.
