  • I can't believe I'm approaching 4 years of using a quarterly planning system. Absolute game changer. These are some of the best tips I'd share with my younger self when deciding if I should switch to this way of planning. If you're serious about writing being your career (and your business), I whole heartedly recommend this way of planning to get you there.
As mentioned in the video, I use Sarra Cannon's HB90 system which you can find more about here*: heartbreathing...

good morning, Rhian. Joining the Old School club here. Pen and Paper may be old school but our brain processes and retains information we actually write out hard copy. get it down first then transfer to digital if you must.
I've always been a planner but the HB90 process has changed how I think about my authorpreneur business.
I loved your heart screen for the Kanban. LOL I know having that visual on my wall has helped insure I'm actually accomplishing what I've mapped out in my planner. Hopefully, this will be the last quarter I have to include decluttering my office as a goal.
Love your videos. Thanks for sharing!

I am realizing more and more how much I need that level of planning and structure. For the longest time it felt stifling, but as I am now actually taking my own writing seriously, I am learning to embrace it. Thanks so much for all these tips!

It's mad how much learning how to structure, prioritise, and manage, has helped with my writing! I totally recommend following hb90 or another quarterly planning system!

This just reminded me that I haven't written down my goals yet 😮 One was to start authortube, so I'll write it down and then tick it off immediately 😂 These tips will definitely help with my other plans!

Spreadsheet lovers would hate my planning system. It's all scribbly and chaotic haha

Love this! I have a pile of papers on my desk that may look like rubbish but I assure you, they are important!

Second it! It's important to recognize the small tasks that bring you closer to completing a project that can take months. Otherwise, you might never feel thruly accomplished.

It truly helps with motivation when projects can last months at a time!
