A few minutes ago, the Media Coordinator of the First Egyptian National Football team Mohamed Mourad announced on Facebook that Egypt's International Omar Marmoush signed his Manchester City contract. Mourad highlighted that the move of Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt to the Citizens will be for £50 million. Marmoush ranks second alongside Harry Kane for goals and assists across Europe's top five leagues in 2024-25, after scoring 13 goals and 8 assists.
No one seems to realize that he's playing his best football ever during his contract year. Perhaps Liverpool is just getting the best out of their players on a contract year and will re-sign them in June. PS everyone saying FSG is the problem is absurd considering Liverpool's success with FSG
If I were Salah, I would leave the club immediately in January and sign with City, Arsenal or Manchester United, as a punishment for this stupid management, which, after everything Salah has done, is still procrastinating in implementing Salah's legitimate demands.
The African Nations Cup is a factor as well. Salah's form dropped after the last two of those in the 2nd halves of those P.L. seasons. Clearly he was tired both times. So a new contract might cover a 3rd time. FSG will be weighing everything up.
Salah wants a 20-30 Million signing on bonus that he’d get if he goes to another club as a free agent. Liverpool would rather see him walkout than pay a signing on bonus.
Teams have spent billions trying to win the PL and CL. Without Salah Liverpool win neither. Pay him whatever he wants and he will win you what is worth billions to other teams.
LFC know what they are doing. I'm sure they will extend Salah and VVD enentually just not now, why? Because players always play with 200% when they play for new contract and often drop off after getting one... Remember Sanchez at Arsenal? Liverpool need them keep playing like they are doing to ensure this promising season to be a success. After that they will extend Salah and VVD contracts and maybe TAA's as well if he wants to stay... Edwards and Co. are not fools.
I love Salah but if what media is saying that the club has reservation on 3 years contract that Salah asked for, then I stand with the club. When u give a player such high salary with his age is risky. We see many players who drop off their form after new contracts and is hard to get rid of them. Look at man u. And if Salah is off form,do you think Slot will take him off? Remember last season, where Klopp took Salah off when he was not playing well? It might create unrest in the dressing room.
Oh course they can let him go - if he's asking for far too much! I'd say "Sling yer hook, son - we were totally fine when you were out injured last season, with Díaz on the right"
Y'know the funny thing is that the board has all the power. In the end having Salah has not delivered enough silverware. 1 league title, 1 cl, 1 fa cup. 7 years and only 3 REAL trophies. For as good he's been, don't think either party will have regrets regardless of the decision
Bro be for real with yourself you got guardiola on the other side putting crazy numbers winning the league with 100+ points and u got madrid when it comes to Champions league they become monsters this is a good number in 7 years comparing to how hard the premier league is . How you want them to compete with those teams that have more revenues. If they don’t give Salah that contract they will regret it for sure without salah Liverpool cannot be decisive . Tell me one winger besides salah in the premier that is doing 20+ goals every season
7:55 The ONLY way Liverpool will not beat United is if they're as wasteful as last season's 0-0 Real Madrid, Man City, Bayan Leverkusen, could not score at Anfield- Who will score for them?
He hasn't said anything new. Of course it's his last season until they sign the contract. But I hope John Henry hasn't diverted Liverpool's fund to another business and is in a crossroad now.
Feel that Salah want longer term, but Liverpool policiy prevent that. What if he injured and form drop, then his price drop. Remember he not young anymore. Just like last season. He not same after back from injury
Valencia have a narrow field , makes it easier for them to get compact. Honestly, real was bad today, but Valencia was worse. That's why we ended up winning. Everyone, except Jude. Especially the defense...OMG. We need 2 LWBs asap. On Valencia hitting the post, the guy on the right just flies past rudiger, and Camavinga jumps under the ball.. Just terrible. Hala Madrid!

Never forget those ESPN/Disney wokesters skipped the national anthem and the moment of silence for the New Orleans victims followed by "USA, USA" chants on the Sugar Bowl broadcast.
There is such a thing as overplaying your hand. Public comments by Salah won't affect the decision making by the Liverpool board. In fact if I were them I might be a little ticked off that in the midst of an excellent season for the team the top player is making it about him. He needs to realize that with or without him the club goes on. If money is the priority he should go to Saudi. If playing at the top level matters to him then he stays where he is and reaches a deal all be it less lucrative than going to Saudi.
If they club cant renew all 3 contracts at the same time , i would rather they keep trent , but we cant be upset if Salah leaves and go elsewhere thats pays him what he wants , if he wins us the league 🎉

No one seems to realize that he's playing his best football ever during his contract year. Perhaps Liverpool is just getting the best out of their players on a contract year and will re-sign them in June. PS everyone saying FSG is the problem is absurd considering Liverpool's success with FSG
Where is the Scottish Pug guy? I enjoy his sarcasm, us Welsh would welcome him to a warm pub on a cold wet winter night in Wales.
Scottish pug is crazy 😭😭😭😭
LIVERPOOL PLEASE GIVE MO HIS MONEYYYY
Sell him for a lot of money and look for younger players!
How much is his money 💰?
Liverpool would rather see him walkout than pay a signing on bonus.
it's actually 60 Million and also wants 50 M when he retires and 5 M every year after that
Said it god knows how many times Utd should have kept Ruud till the end of the season
Why? So he can get them relegated just like he will with Leicester? Have a day off will ya
You will get relegated with Amorim still. Watch and see
Vini, Mbappe and Salah next season at Madrid 😮
He could also go back to Chelsea
Salah can leave if he's playing with Liverpool, he will suffer the same fate as Mane and Firmino.
Then what he will go with golden ball
Hughes, Edwards, and FSG are all culpable. If all three leave, there will be uproar from the fans. The fans would want heads !
I think a 2 year deal with an option for a 3rd would be more appropriate.
If he's at the best club why have they only won 1 PL in 30 years? Why won't they pay the players what they deserve?
If Liverpool are really serious you don't let your best player ever to leave most especially he wants to stay
And yet people wonder why big name players don't go to Liverpool
Craig Burley on His future with ESPN FC!😂 that'd be a worthy discussion!😂
Perhaps the wages agent asked enough to sign two top wingers.
The only big teams that need Salah are Utd and City, but he’d never sign for those clubs.
Liverpool is confused
He's 32! The forwards are the strongest part of the squad. See ya.
hes 33 years old. £300,000 per week wage at the age 36 i think would be a mistake. Liverpool have to look towards the future
We as fans are in this position because of Michael Edward’s n klopp. But not FSG they don’t buy till they sell,
Mohamed Salah will leave Liverpool didn't respected him
If liverpool dont give salah what he wants we will riot
Liverpool's downfall clock is ticking.. We'll be there, we'll be right there
Haters will always hate. Ha!!!
Dream on
Sad troll ur get a life 😂
Final season ends on high for him league and champion league.
Oh course they can let him go - if he's asking for far too much! I'd say "Sling yer hook, son - we were totally fine when you were out injured last season, with Díaz on the right"
It's a bluff...Despite all the noise, no clubs have been linked to Salah.
He just wants more money.
The issue is we cannot let them walk away FOR FREE... we can let them go with a price and No.20 winners medal in tow.
Y'know the funny thing is that the board has all the power. In the end having Salah has not delivered enough silverware. 1 league title, 1 cl, 1 fa cup. 7 years and only 3 REAL trophies. For as good he's been, don't think either party will have regrets regardless of the decision
Idiot we have been up against cheating 115 oil club or would have won 3 more league titles
No club can sacrifice the integrity of the clubs finances for one player. If you do, you become Barcelona

The ONLY way Liverpool will not beat United is if they're as wasteful as last season's 0-0
Real Madrid, Man City, Bayan Leverkusen, could not score at Anfield- Who will score for them?
As much I love Mo, its always about the club and not an individual. If his pay demands are exorbitent he shoild go and okay in the Saudi league.
Jonjo shelvey and benayoun days are brewing for liverpool. 😂😂
Saudi coming for salah at the end of season
Pay the man
FSG think they are smartest. they dont care about fans happines its all about their business.Salah deserves 400k
He hasn't said anything new. Of course it's his last season until they sign the contract. But I hope John Henry hasn't diverted Liverpool's fund to another business and is in a crossroad now.
Question is if he gets a mega contract then drops off with age
Rashford
He still worth it even if he dropped in form. He has proven he is worth it.
Wen dd Rashford ever performed...poor comparison
@@MabasaChikanda-in4kv did you see rashford the season before his number contract, he scored like 30+ goals
if we dont secure salah, fsg out, would be the biggest failure of the club in its history.
Feel that Salah want longer term, but Liverpool policiy prevent that. What if he injured and form drop, then his price drop. Remember he not young anymore. Just like last season. He not same after back from injury
Real Madrid would be good for Salah. I don’t see him signing a new contract
He has never delivered for us in big games. Manè used to
This is the side of world football that I don’t like. Haven’t these players got enough money already?
Yeah I'm sure If u had a job and u were the best at that role, u would just accept the same instead of getting what u deserve
@@erlinghakaku9967 When you make 300k - 400k per week, you don't "deserve" anything more. It is unhinged and disturbing that someone in that position would try to milk his club for more money and potentially put them in a bad financial situation. It's an absolutely embarrassing and shameful level of greed.
@@MarkHogan994 "you don't deserve anything more" yeah you're waffling. Bro thinks there's a cap to what someone deserves. The market dictates what someone deserves. Salah deserves to be paid same as haaland kdb rashfords mbappe etc. "put them in a bad financial position" brother, this should be a red flag for the owners who clearly don't have a model to keep world class players. If not they should f off and let in new owners who care about keeping the best players and winning but of course fans like you will try to defend the billionaires over the players on the pitch deserving of their wage.
VVD will surely sign, trent will go to real, salah also will stay
He’s going to Man Utd for free at the end of the season.
As a Liverpool fan this contract situation is far too stressful, and it's somewhat taking away from how good that the team is performing at the moment, since I'm literally waking up every day 8 hours behind GMT time in Las Vegas while immediately checking the notifications on my phone tbh, so I really need this saga to conclude positively, asw as Salah to stop saying "This is my last time...," in order to salvage what's left of my health, I'm ngl ❤️✌🏻.
Mo salah and his chess board
How about ye try and be impartial and professional particularly that arrogant presenter who fails in his job obligation of just presenting the content?
Surly some kind of wage cap needs bringing in. No amount of money is ever enough . It wouldn’t be so bad if these greedy players paid for everyone’s season ticket as part of the ridiculous pay rises .
Salah deserves a 2 year contract given his physique and age. The club is at fault for leaving these contracts get to these states. However, as an LFC fan, I don't want the club to be in trouble if this will increase the wage bill for all players to a point where signings become impossible. No players is irreplaceable. I would keep VVD and increase his wage as he is the captain. Salah and Trent are bordering arrogance and I am inclined to just them them go and get replacement for them this January. .
