Thank you for this. Visiting in two weeks to meet a friend over in Keene, NH. Battleboro was the only city around with hotels and to my surprise it’s also beautiful! Can’t wait to explore!

What a well done and delightful video! Kudos for such a polished production! I love Brattleboro so much I bought a home here that overlooks both the Whetstone Brook and the truly terrific Farmers Market.
Definitely looks like a fun place to visit and a fun place to bring a family. The maple syrup farm now that looks awesome! We used to tap maple trees in northern Minnesota and the kids loved getting to see how the tree can be turned into something sweet like candy. Thanks for sharing, great video!
Wow, you used to tap maple trees! That's a cool experience for the kids. Our kids loved learning the process. Brattleboro was a nice surprise for us. We had never heard of it before but really enjoyed ourselves.
I wish I would have known you were there. I was there a few years ago and at at the Top of the Hill Grill. Best BBQ I've ever had north of Virginia. Great place to eat. Stunning scenery too.
Thank you very much for this amazing video. I live in Mass but have skied in Vermont years ago at Killington. It's such a beautiful state. Thanks for taking us along with you. 🙂
Thanks for the response, it use to be a restaurant. I couldn't find anything exept a very grainy video that was almost creepy, nothing like i remembered lol
The farmers market is great but the hot food sections is so expensive for a small amount of food. Just get some Fresh bread and cheese and whatever produce/ferments/pickles/meat. Make a fresh sandwich. So fun and delicious.
It was a great place to grow up in the 70's. I have lived all over the states, mostly California and wouldn't want to attend high school any were else. Go COLONELS. Always loved to return to visit friends and family. Sad to see that it is not as clean and that opioids has taken its toll. People there know how to live in harmony. You don't need to be wealthy to have a good life.
@@blueforest2927 I lived in Greenfield in the late 80's, worked for B&M RR [what a mess that was]. Frequently went up to Bratt for entertainment. You must have heard of Flat street bar, and Moles Eye Cafe. Yeah it was the last state to raise drinking age to 21.
They forgot to show the methadone clinic, the epidemic of drug addiction in the area, and the homelessness from not enough housing. I'm a homeless vet with money for an apartment but can't find one.
if it wasn't for the rise in crime, the nonstop covid mandates and New Hampshire being right next door I would love to visit Brattleboro again. Unfortunately it's not the same as it used to be.

Thank you. Not sure about common ground? Is it a coffee shop or restaurant?
Thanks for the response, it use to be a restaurant. I couldn't find anything exept a very grainy video that was almost creepy, nothing like i remembered lol
In the summertime are there cars parked along the main rd and people swimming/tubing in the shallow river?
Not sure - maybe someone can chime in...?

What county is Brattleboro in
In Windham County in the Southeast Corner of Vermont (across the river is NH, and just 15 miles south is MA)
