That wrecker will look cool with the older style cab on it. nIce collection of tow trucks, I like the old weathered one with the engine block in the back.
Love your wreckers Glenn! I still don't see any Munster Minions! Your story about Donnie reminds me of a funny story. We were on I-55 in Chicago heading south in my friend's 74' Cutlass and a tire went speeding past us, and we all started laughing until the back of the car dropped to the ground! It was his left rear! 😂 😎👍
Hey Mike monster minions are on the way I'm working on Herman and Grandpa right now actually I guess the wheel falling off isn't such a rare thing after all somebody else mentioned that their wheel took off on another comment thanks for watching buddy I'll catch you later
I'm with you Glen, I enjoy wreckers also. As a matter of fact, this Ford is an exact replica of the one I drove in 1977, but it had a yellow body with black bed and boom, and only a push bar, not the grille part. Back in 1988-89 I was driving a 1969 Chevy, all black but 2 wheel drive instead of 4. I love all the wreckers you have built. 👍👍👍
Good Wednesday morning my friend. 🖐Dan the Man is very cool.😎👍MMMM nice sandwich 🤤Rust never sleeps. Chuck wants up. Upchuck🤣Great story my friend. See Y'all later, bye.😃👍✌
@@Pinkys-one-offs haha I haven't thought about a wrecker that is a race gasser but now I have lol sounds like a future project BTW I am putting the blown sohc motor from the AMT 33willys gasser in the wrecker but just so it has enough power to do the job, besides who doesn't want more power,,haa catch you later buddy Glen
Love those wreckers, I think you have afflicted me as I now want to build them over other models I already have. Lol! P.S. I love to listen to your stories too! Also, all of you guys be careful out there, I'm just now getting over (I hope) of a case of COVID. It darn near killed me in the process. I have never felt so bad in my entire life. Please do everything you can to stay away from it and stay healthy, it's no joke.
Hey buddy I don't know what it is about wreckers I just I just like them you know and I've had covid all around me my neighbor across the street my neighbor to the right of me and my neighbor to the rear of of me and they're all gone now so I'm being careful I got all the shots and so those Donnie thanks for thanks for the info buddy later Glenn
I talked the other day about operating a 71 F350 2wd wrecker similar to this in the mid 1970s. That had a gear driven winch. Not a chain drive. The PTO driveshaft went to the lower part of the winch, which sat lower in the truck than represented in this kit. No open chains to keep junk cleaned out of. No maintenance. No oil slung all over the truck off the chain. Way better setup. That was a Warn brand winch. 150' of cable. The driver that trained me told me the old trucks had this chain drive winch and how much he hated it. Oh... And, Padump bump, BOOM. 😅 It would be great to be able to buy this wrecker bed as a Parts Pack. Also be great to be able to buy the heavy duty rear springs, axle and dually wheels and tires as another Parts Pack. My big ?? for this show is... Is that going to be a Pro street sandwich? Or a wrecker sandwich? You should probably go with Munster (muenster?) cheese and minionaise. Don't forget a bat pickle on the side. When you're done it'll be a gasser. 😎 Another comment: You talk about Donnie doing a Dukes of Hazzard in his Camaro and how in the show they jump the cars and it looks like they wreck 'em. Yup. They wrecked 'em. My father in law was one of the body and fender guys who repaired the damage they did. They destroyed about 300 1968 to 1970 Chargers making the TV show. He also worked on cars for KITT.
Awesome video as always Glen. Man those Wreckers are cool 😎 love the story of the the Two Don's😅. I do not have your shop csrd so can you please send me one. And thanks for the shout out. KUTGW

That was a great wrecker video, the Mobius model kit looks sweet! Your dinner looks real, needs mustard though. Good to hear that Donnie made it home safe and the Camaro was repaired , have a good week, Glenn!
