Not too sure about this minimalist approach interior styling . We like a nice satisfying click of a good quality switch, but they seem to think they know better, which is nothing more than cost cutting and they think we can’t see it. The price goes up and the quality goes down.
Group 1 (previously Inchcape) Preston, good service, nice staff, got my plug in hybrid arriving Friday after a 2 week wait for delivery, brand new, black.
I didnt like the one screen with no buttons but recently went to JLR for a service and took a look inside in the flesh and wow makes sense now esp when you look at the older gen the new screen looks damn modern but yes still plenty of space new the gear knob to put a couple of buttons , maybe a temp button control to reduce interaction with the screen. the seats were also good but they always do in RR , only thing what I am concerned with is the 1.5 ltr petrol engine ( wouldnt get another diesel to much like a headache ) esp if you run out of electric what would the 1.5 ltr engine be like on its own power alone , is it slow esp up hill with aircon on ? my evoque 2 ltr diesel ( 180 bhp version ) is fast enough to get you out of trouble and never feels under power so would love to know if the 1.5 petrol be inder power on its own
I got my Tribeca blue HSE diesel at the end of September. I dropped the 360 camera and the opening Sunroof and the gesture tailgate from my previous 69 plate Evoque. I never used them! I bought it from Marshalls Of Melton (My third Evoque from them) and they were brilliant. Now JLR have shafted them and withdrawn their franchise. What the hell are they thinking?
@CarChatTV great detailed video. The first video i’ve seen that actually talks about mpg. Were you driving it in hybrid mode when you got the 60 odd mpg? Any tips? Thanks
Hey thanks for the comment and kind words. Yes that was driving it in hybrid mode for the 60mpg. Just driving it normally to get that, just nice and easy on the accelerator. Thanks for chatting 🤗

Hi Car chat, l have being trying to buy a new RR Evoque HSE HYBRID. I Want to the RR, Battersea, show room. They made me feel like l had to chase them for an update for a test drive. The customer service I received was negative and when l asked to speak to another representative because the 1st one went on two weeks leave without my knowledge. The second representative didn't come back to me with an update after waiting two more weeks. I had to call again to find out when l could get a test drive. He also said l must now test drive a 2025 model instead of the 2024 model l wanted. Please can you let me know, just where your friend bought his vehicle, please.

Another option I have been looking at is the Jaguar E pace plug in, same setup engine and battery wise, different car though.
