Love this channel, reminds me of when i hit the oil drain plug in a speed bump in my t-23 bucket, first i thought it was nothing but i stopped , all oil drained out on the asphalt from the 427 Chevy engine , towed it back to my workshop and replaced the bottom plate with a 0.1 inch steel plate and put the drain plug at the side , perfect
People often overlook the power easily accessible shows have don't they. Look at The Grand Tour, great bit of TV, but after the 1st year of marketing it I've almost forgotten about it because i can't access it without having to pay more money or find some back route to view it. Same goes for F1, viewing figures falling, again hidden behind a pay wall on SKY. I'm rapidly forgetting of this shows existence and yet 12 months ago it was something i used to go off and watch during college. If it wasn't for twitter im sure id have forgotten about all 3 long ago. The common thought is always, 'If it has huge fans, they'll follow it anywhere', but it doesn't work, so they've had to come back to RUclips and remind us that this show still exists.
After watching every single episode of every show MT would post, this will be the first content I've seen in months! I really want to know if the new format is yielding results that are worthwhile. There are so many content creators that deal with roadkill style and other down to earth issues, I can't see paying extra for it. I do miss Fry/Finn a bit though, and my boy Lucky!

Roadkill. You guys were great. Now your a lost cause. Folks dont want to pay to see these episodes. They would wait months just to watch them. But now you have denied them.
Been some time now since roadkill left. It felt like a breakup. It hurt, I was sad, but now I moved on. I can look at this and be happy for the time it was with us, and not feel bad for losing it. I have gotten over it.
The bottom line is that most people will NOT pay to watch another car channel. There is already a plethora of TV car shows from Top Gear to Chasing Classic Cars to various You Tube channels fixing crashed cars. Even though Roadkill has a unique formula and likeable hosts, we have seen all of this stuff before. The sneak peeks on You Tube keep getting longer. It is obvious that Motor Trend is not getting the anticipated audience numbers. Abetter strategy may have been to release a six minute video every week on You Tube with four videos constituting an episode. This would have increased ad revenue and monthly views. After six monthe or so the four episodes could be combined, with a few extra scenes, to encourage repeat viewing. Another suggestion would be to do updates on old episodes by adding commentary etc. It is a shame Motor Trend based their decision on trying to create a video subscription service. The subscription model is becoming obsolete. By failing to change their thinking Motor Trend is risking becoming irrelevant today and into the future.
Such a shame, I dont watch Roadkill anymore since it was moved from RUclips.
How they dear not post in youtube for free. When they have to pay for cars, tools and make money for family. They are monsters.

I've been watching them as they come out on MTOD. One new free episode per month. You get them earlier by paying, but you can still watch for free.
I can't watch the episodes from season 7... I would have to pay to see those.
