Encapsulated Glitter With All The Bling | Ft. Fay

- Hi everybody,
In this video we’re going to do Fay’s index fingers, she’s slowly feeling right again.
We’re going to do a Ballerina shape so I’m going to fit the form. Dehydrate and prime and then sculpt the extension in Clear Acrylic because we’re going to be using Glitter. It just needs to be thin as a base for the design aspect of the nail. I’m then going to use Natural Beige at the free edge at a diagonal angle and then the cuticle area and the apex all in Natural Beige. I’ve got the different sizes of 2 different coloured glitter and some triangles. I’m going to take a bead of Clear and apply it to the nail, I’m then going to add the glitter in sections before the acrylic dries. I’ll then cap the glitter in Clear for structure.
Once the sculpt is done, I’m going to file the nail into a nice smooth shape and wipe over with acetone. I’m going to add my gems now with Acrygel and then use the Ultra Matte Top Coat over the Acrygel before sticking my stones in. I’ll then gloss top coat the glitter section.

Faye's average appointment (when filming) is an all day affair. It takes longer when filming because Kirsty only does one or two nails at a time, rather than working on all 10 at once. Because she's a model for the channel, her nails are gratis.
They're free in exchange for appearing in videos as a model.

Why do you need a license first? Kirsty will teach students at her classes. I would think her instruction would enhance whatever education is required in your state, province, territory or country. She even offers back to basics courses as a place to start!

And the beautiful balance is back! Just enough technical audio, a beautiful nail technique and just enough friendly banter and insults, the perfect video.
I know there are some who wouldn’t agree with me, but the comments on the first nails in this particular set were harsh and some even downright rude, the audio for Kristy was too low in that one and wow did people really get on the imbalance with their keyboard warrior skills, personally, to me, it felt a little (a lot) like bullying in those comments, not every personality is going to mesh with yours and that’s 100% ok, but the way some of those comments came across was just plain rude. The second in this series was just plain wrong, I know there was probably a lot of downtime for all of you doing this set and may have been some personal things discussed that were cut out, but it felt dead.
When I find a new channel, I will go back and watch older videos to get a feel for the artist and style and then work my way forward picking and choosing videos that make me laugh, few good/entertained and add to my knowledge, I always rewatch the videos with Fay, maybe as I said on the last video because it’s the banter I grew up with so it feels normal to me, but I love the connection between you all.
Keep up this editing, it’s back to being the balance I personally look for when I see a Fay video posted.
And I know she won’t see it herself, but a big Congratulations Fay on your wedding.
