Years since I've been to Blackpool. The last time I went it was amazing fun. Full of the Irish having a laugh....great atmosphere...
I was there 25 years ago for a long weekend. I don't remember it looking so grotty with so many alcos on the streets. May I was just younger and didn't notice.

We are passing through a period of police intimidation, hence their presence, where their presence was missing prior to this moment in time. Eventually all will go back to normal, and as to where officers go, would be interesting, maybe in stasis

I was in Blackpool on Saturday!
Rode the tram up to North Station, went for my first £1 burger, having a chat with Chris about music and Telford (where we both used to live!) and the burger was really nice! Will deffo be back!
Went for a Promenade Tour on a Boat car, then headed to the Bispham Kitchen for fish & chips and syrup sponge and custard!
Started the drive back home around eight, hence why I missed your livestream!
Good to see the town busy!

Stephen, do you remember The Gaiety Bar, opposite North Pier? I'm going back to the'80's? Man Friday was downstairs in the place. It was abit of a dive....I loved it!🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻!

I love watching your videos Buddy - Im always looking to see if you come across a place called Uncle Toms Cabin - My late late mum has a photo of here and her pals in 1956 when they went for a day trip from Maryport ! They went there !
@mickbeeee I don't think Uncle Tom's is there anymore. I seem to remember it being bought out by a chain, in about 2017.
It's been turned into ma Kelly's now
I remember going to Uncle Toms Cabin as a child with my Dad. Remember the noisy milk 🥛 frother. Happy memories in the 60s.

@@BRIAN-mr5ue Not that easy. It’s a tight squeeze where you drive in, and driving out is a bit dodgy with people walking past.
