Nice, what are your pcsx2 settings? Also, the game looks stretched.

I am playing with wide screen/ Fullscreen,
Render is Direct 11 Hardware, Adapter is my GPU, Resolution is 1440p, Anisotropic Filtering 4x. Text offset X:360 and Y:490. I use text offset to fix the ghosting issue that happens in this game when you play at a higher resolution

Props to you for getting a 350z to actually drift, I never could tbh. I just used the ‘67 Mustang Fastback for drifting

I originally wanted to use the Silvia and the 350z but I cancel my plans on switching between the two cars due to their drifting styles being a night and day difference. Also using the clutch on the Silvia had some weird reaction for me where the 350z felt normal. Also the mountain track from the movie was the worse track to drift on in the whole game due to bumps, invisible walls, extreme narrow roads compare to other drift tracks and the Ai have this insane glitch or rubberbanding that makes their score shoot up anywhere from 2,000 to 5,000 within 5 seconds if you fall behind to far or get too far ahead of them.
Those were also the reason why I didn’t use the Silvia along with the 350z.

@@saltiestcrystal I completely agree with you, being a veteran of the game, I know how the Mountain drifting can be difficult especially with that narrow track. One thing I would recommend doing if you decide to run it back is doing donuts with the proper car that can do it for awhile. It may seem like cheating, but it gets the job done and has won me all of the narrow tracks. I play this on an actual PS2 so it’s probably a difference between the emulator and the actual PS2, but I saw what grip battle car you chose, a solid choice for an ff car, however not the one I would personally go for but like I’m saying “I wouldn’t personally go for it”, I usually use cars like the ‘06 Dodge Charger Daytona, the ‘06 Corvette C6, the ‘06 Dodge Viper, and the ‘06 Corvette C6R later down the line for grip battles. Sure, they may be fr cars, but not only are they fast, if you know how to handle it on the track, they grip really well, the ones with the most grip are the Viper and Corvette C6R, however I would be careful when braking with the C6R as it does tend to slide when braking. Those are some recommendations for the game, you don’t have to follow them, they’re just here if you ever decide you wanna try them out or something

Also the ‘67 Mustang Fastback is the car with the highest torque in the game, going at max of (if all upgrades are unlocked) 891 lbft of torque

@@orion8135 I didn’t know about this until last month I normally try not to use exploit tricks unless I am being forced to use them (like if I cannot win not matter what I do unless I cheat it)

@@saltiestcrystal I see, also I wanted to ask, for your drift points, what do you get on average?
