Interesting result Mitch, and i look forward to seeing you change that faulty component ?, BTW nice camera work you manage very well under your busy working conditions. Thank you 👍 🔧🔩
Those PWM valves are just a hot gas bypass essentially - Ive had a few where the board itself was constantly sending 240v out to the coil causing the comp not to pump properlly / Other cases ive had where the actual valve was seized. Theres a little bit of work invloved but you can bypass these completely. I have done it in the past because customers were complaining about the noise it make when it unloads & loads. Most of the time I just recommend a Base Kit supplied by Actron.
Yes, I came across a unit where the neighbour kept on complaining of the noise the unit made when it loaded/unloaded,, Spoke to Actron and they gave me the steps on how to disable it permanently.. I can't remember off hand but I do remember it was quite involved
The bypass system is the worst design ever. I hated them from day 1 and still do. I hope Actron have moved on from this, because it's a ticking time bomb and costly repairs will beckon. You also mentioned the noise when it loads then unloads.. Yes, that has to be one of the most irritating noise. I feel sorry for the neighbour who has to put up with it. Capacity control, my arse.
hey mate, would that solenoid valve cause the system pressure equalise when is malfunctioned, cause i have equal pressure on high and low side while the system is running and the compressor is running and everything else. your help would be appreciated
Very nice work Mitch 🤝there lucky to have you in suburbs mate
Thanks mate!

Great video bro!
Appreciate it!
Sounds like a "wrong phase sequence"

Yeah mate 100%. If that solenoid valve is open the pressures will equalise.
