Underrated actress. Her acting in Heavenly Creatures was incredible. It’s such a shame that she wasn’t given as much opportunities in the film industry as Kate Winslet.
It's been great to see her go from *Heavenly Creatures* to *Two and A Half Men* to her devastating role as Shauna on *Yellowjackets.* To know she walked away from big bucks to focus on developing her work is astonishing. I don't know if I'd have made the same decision.
She may have made it to Hollywood but shes still and always will be Kiwi at heart. New Zealand is home and she makes me proud of to be a New Zealander ❤❤
Heavenly Creatures is a phenomenal film. Saw it at the cinema in the early 90's and was stunned. Peter Jackson is a master director. Melanie and Kate deserved Oscar noms for it. ❤

She's an amazing actress. I've only known her as Rose from Two and a Half Men but now I really want to see her other work. I had no idea that she was from New Zealand because she really perfected her American accent in the show. She is so sweet.
You forgot Jake the muss from once were warriors then he did what becomes of the Broken hearted and then he went to Hollywood and he was in the movie star wars clash of the clones and a few after that but before his roles in the movies he was a doctor in our AUCKLAND NEW ZEALAND DRAMA (SHORTLAND STREET) so there you have it.
