- A bipartisan delegation of US lawmakers, including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, met the Dalai Lama, in India. Reaffirming American support for Tibetan autonomy, the lawmakers warned China that the U.S. will not allow Beijing to influence the choice of his successor. The lawmakers comments are expected to anger China as it views the exiled Tibetan spiritual leader as a "separatist."

Tibet was never part of China. It was forcibly invaded and illegally occupied by communist China in 1949/50! 157 Tibetans have self-immolated seeking independence for Tibet since 2009!

How ignorant and brainwashed to even believe that Tibetan history only started with the present Dalai Lama, who is a CIA stooge and tool! BTW Tibet, under the exiled Dalai Lama, was ruling Tibet as a serfdom, where Tibetans were dirt poor, denied human rights and owned nothing! After his exile, the population, economy and culture of Tibet have improved tremendously, just like Xinjiang! The rate of progress is way better than that of India! There's no more abject poverty in China, which includes Tibet and Xinjiang, after the Chinese government lifted 800 million Chinese out of poverty in just 40 years! Whereas in India, there are 800 million Indians still languishing in poverty! BTW, 70% of the world's high-speed rail are in China!🇨🇳 Indians are still waiting their HSR from the Japanese!

The very fact that China invaded Tibet shows that Tibet was never a part of China. They annexed it by force and false history. Tibet culture is way off the Chinese culture. Remember what happed to east Pakistan. West Pakistan never accepted East Pakistan's culture and language. First of all the unification was wrong.
