I’m so excited about all the upcoming horse games, a few years ago I was spending hours searching for another good horse game, and at last here they all are! Soon I won’t need expensive star stable for horsey fun, I’ll have so many options!
when i was a kid, all that was provided were poorly animated games with high prices that my parents sadly couldn't afford. excited for games that are not only cheaper, but well designed with plenty of features we've never seen before!
My absolute favorite was barbie horse adventures on the Playstation 3 wenn I was a kid. Maybe my memories are better than it actually was but till this day I have not found a better one
I’m not going to lie rdr2 has the best horse physics I’ve ever seen in a video game and I’m not sure I can go back to unrealistic movement. The motion capture they used is next level.
Same! I’m watching these videos and waiting for something that can replace Red Dead! I just want a realistic looking game where I can do all these things these games offer. Red dead has the most visually amazing horses and environment. But what you can actually do with your horse is so lacking. 😢
Takes of rein ravine is an absolutely phenomenal game. It uses real horse techniques that really make the game feel real. Such as leg aids, strides, scope. It’s such an awesome game. Especially for real horse riders or people who can’t ride horses who want to. It’s truly amazing.
@@alli944 the part with competitions, Damon, rose, and making your own courses yes. It’s $3.50, the part with courses, spot, and milo is free. Everything else such as lessons, riding etc is included with both.
I understand why most horse games focus on english riding disciplines since it's more universal, but I'd really love a game that lets me do things like barrel racing, reigning, pole bending, even cowsports like sorting, roping, penning. it's the main reason i've stuck to star stable, is that it puts a decent amount of effort to western riding compared to other horse games. All these games looks beautiful though, and I'm excited to see where they go :)
Right!? I am waiting for the PERFECT yeehaw horse game, I am talking all of the classics + the cultural taming / horsemanship that we've seen for years! ^^
For me I'm mostly excited about Astride and Tales of Rein Ravine as those are the types of horse games i like. The others are great but not my type of games :)

The game developer said that the early acces will be around 30 dollars/euros, I know it's gonna be a big game and the demo is only the first season but games cost so much...

The only thing that concerns me when I see ads for new horse games, is if the world is too open, and what I mean by that is when there's so much open space it feels like it's literally just you and the horse and there's no further character interaction aside from the random people at the barns. It's something that I've noticed a lot in horse games, and it makes me sad because there's so much room for gameplay and it ends up neglected. Hopefully that's not the case with these new games, and I look forward to seeing updates regarding them!
I grew up on Barbie horse games and a lot of those school book fair cd-rom games, and these days can never quite find something to scratch the itch. Honestly I found that most games won't scratch that itch because we grew up playing them. Now that we're older, we have sorta been used to games like that ^^" Idk, it's sorta sad that our brains won't ever be that "WOW! NEW GAME!" but definitely fun to have new games to try!

im so happy realistic horse games are being developed. I was tired of seeing games mainly targetted towards children and with basic machanics. I played tales of rein ravine and I loved how you had to use your legs not just just the reins, like in real life. I have been dying to play Astride , I am looking foward to the full release but you can play the prerelease right now for $32 CAD. So much potential for the future of horse games. I appreciate all of the hard work that goes into all of them.

The grafic obviously isn't so good but I remember it had barrel racing ad reining, I think it's name was something like "my western horse" I think it had even a remake on 3ds I know you want a new cool game probably but I just remembered this game and I wanted to say it
Horse shelter 2022 is probably abandoned. The developer hasn't updated anything since 1 november 2022. So hopeful of tales of rein ravine and astride. They seem so great games. Finally horse games that get me excited!
Ahh, I figured. The sad truth of developers who make a horse game like that, the dev didn't really show many signs of "knowing" horses - this is my assumption, but I am not sure if it'll even be good quality if/when finished :,)
No horse game will ever beat Legacy of Rosemond Hill and those graphics does not hold lol. No breeding and only a few horses. But I wish someone would take that game and remake it, think it would be fantastic today.

Something I always struggle with is finding a good game, because I do want a realistic game but every time I find a realistic game, they always focus on the visuals and not the actual gameplay.

I'm pretty new to equestrian games and have always loved to be around horses but am now learning more about it and I'm wondering if anyone knows of the best game that includes thing such as leading your horse to the wash bay, washing them, tacking up, just the regular mundane stuff and like learning to ride and dressage?
My favorites for more freelance type stuff like that is Minecraft (modded) and Star Stable. Not many games like that with all of those details except phone apps 🤍
Unbridled said they'd make catmugs for me. Astride didn't give me catmugs, but they did make Fjords and Percherons and Tale of rein ravine graphics style makes me happy. So overall I love them all. But Unbridled brought my love when they agreed to catmugs.
I’m planning to get my own horse DS or 3DS game which ever is gonna be first to be found. I’ve been thinking of playing it since my Nintendo dog has been fun to play once more with responsibilities of dog care I could switch and upgraded to horse care game.
