I've spent probably 500-600 dollars to try and get ahead and I can see that's not even close to the amount of money needed to be competitive. Fuck this game and fuck Pixonic. I wont spend another dollar.

"the integration of gambling and probability education in the U.S. curriculum is a relatively recent development, and its implementation can vary significantly by state and even by school district" Looks like the idea wasn't so bad after all.

So the question is, what can be done about the corruption?
Who is the watchdog of mobile gaming?

    • @darkside6215
      @darkside6215  2 года назад +3

No one. Nothing can be done and it's far too late... Maybe there could be a group of experienced gamers/ game makers , who knows all those dirty tricks by heart and can spot a percentage inaccuracy in a blink of an eye, gamers that can't be bought by money or presents from anyone, whose only duty would be to spot that kind of games and explain why they are unfair, dubious or even dangerous... And little by little acquire respect from gamers around the world by vulgarizing concise explanations on why a specific game is dubious reguardlessly of the game quality itself, little by little forcing video game companies to design games that are fairer to the player... Even that would take too much time, risks and troubles.
The best watchdog of gaming right now is your own education and ability to spot those kind of practices... Even if you are able to do so, it's still hard for a kid or even an adult, to not play a game that is designed to be the most appealing to players it could be. (ads , inffluencers, graphic/game quality, addiction mechanisms, fame, note in store/game sites... etc etc)
So you see, there is really not much that can be done. At the end of day it's your choice and your choice only to play a game or not, with the little informations you have so far in your life.
My own opinion is that nothing will be done and it will get worse. This problem is far down on the list of problems this world have right now, even if i think it's an important one for our futur. So the only solution is to educate your children about fairness and videogames. Parents can't forbid their children to play video games BUT they have to educate them on how to play them properly in a healthy way/environment so they can take informed choices on their own later on. I also think schools should have a role in this... But maybe i'm asking for too much.

Not true man. Adrain has been with the players since day one. And people are treating him like dirt despite him being our strongest voice?! Only Pixonic could turn the community on its head and pit us against our content creators.

    Hi!
I would like a copy of this video if you can send it to me via email. I have forwarded the link here to Apple to try and get them to take some action against Pixonic, as Apple specifically states in their developer's rules that the use of a gambling mechanic is prohibited. It is also illegal under several laws in the United States.
I need an actual digital copy of this video to use as the basis of a class-action legal case against Apple, as they have refused to take action against Pixonic for their illegal behavior. Obviously because Apple is making a lot of money off this game.
Can you please contact me to make arrangements so I can get a copy of this video?

Hi Paul. You can download the video with any kind of youtube downloader.
But it's already too late to take actions, i should have tried 20 years ago.
The problem is not pixonic itself, but the business model that most game companies are running. The majority of today's games are done that way.
We have made a young generation that mostly know nothing else than scripted fights, illusion of randomness/fairness or money for power.
An adult can deal with this kind of practices at a casino for example, with a "prepared" mind and i have nothing against it. But a young mind is not prepared to deal with those , and i wonder why no one seem concerned about the long term side effect it will/could have.
Like i said, it's already too late, most of game companies are running that kind of business model, hiding behind lawyers, supposed verified "randomness system" etc etc... There is so much money involved in the gaming industry today, that it's unstoppable, uncontrollable and unverifiable... And fewer and fewer people care anymore because it has become their normality or they are just born with it being something normal.
This video is not even mine but i just left it here as a note for the future gamer generations...

@@darkside6215 Thank you for responding so quickly. I am using this video in a complaint to Apple. They specifically state in their developer rules that gambling mechanics are prohibited on their platform. I am using this to demand a refund for all money I have previously spent on this game. While not much, it is the principle that counts.
