Unfortunately, Huawei seems to be lagging behind in updating the Y7 Pro 2019. Even my wife's Y6 Pro 2019 has already been updated to Android Pie several months ago. Try shopping around for other models and brands in that price range I hope this helps Please LIKE my video and SUBSCRIBE to my Channel. Blessings!
@@theChristianGeekDad thank you for your reply. I've still not bought a new phone is there anything better that you could suggest now? Or shall I probably go for the Y6. The y7 is £40 more than the y6 would recommend still or has the y6 had the upgrade? Just want cheap phone with decent specs. Thanks
@@blossom6750 as I'm writing this, the Y7 Pro is still stuck at Android Oreo. But if that's not a problem for you, it's still a good cheap phone with decent specs. Noticeably faster than the Y6 Pro and has better camera software. It does an okay job of taking photos and videos but you need to be familiar with the limitations of both the hardware and software side of the camera. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the phone. My only major gripe is that it cannot connect to Wi-Fi routers that are of the 5GHz type.
😀 for the life of me, i've no idea why my brain was stuck on HELIOTEK 😂 As for the photos, the Y7's AI does an okay job of trying to balance contrast, brightness and color saturation. The success Huawei learned from the P20 has certainly rubbed off on the Y7 but your experience may vary. In general, photos tend to be brighter than what I was used to with Samsung
@@theChristianGeekDad gotcha. I mean thanks for comparing with samsung. Ive been totally sold into the camera of my galaxy s8+ and actually been using it to film a lot of my travels and foodie reviews since 2018.
Yup, Samsung is still hard to beat. I'm still rocking my old Note 5 and it has been giving me good performance for video especially when used with my Zhiyun gimbal 👏💯📸
Amazing video!👍 perfect comparison
Thanks so much for the kind words. I truly appreciate it.
