using motors to convert DC to DC is not ideal. only if the second motor is 3 phase output AC and has inside a real 2 side winding ( rotor and stator ) exactly like the motor generator.
otherwise it best for the DC motor to be used for mechanical work

I don't understand the purpose of plugging in a 12v DC motor to power another 12v DC motor( which reduces the power all together. To charge a capacitor.. nice switching the volt meter to a lower voltage reading so that it appears to give off more volts then it actually does though.. although anyone who uses them at all would have noticed..

well.. the first one should be named an awesome way to WASTE power.. giving the fact that the bigger motor is pulling more energy then the little one is putting out.
lets see, since it looks like a hand held tool motor its probably 18 volts pulling around 7 or 8 amps.. so thats around 100+ watts..
and the little motor is reading 70 watts out... your losing 30 watts an hour...
