- For the first time since the introduction of the Royal Promenade in 1999, the vibrant, all-time favorite debuts floor-to-ceiling ocean views on Royal Caribbean International’s #IconoftheSeas. Behind the architectural and engineering feat, and front and in center in the boldly reimagined neighborhood, is The Pearl.
Get a look behind the scenes as the experts share what the journey was like to design and build a key structure that could support three decks and open up the neighborhood in a whole new way for vacationers, creating what is now the world’s largest kinetic art sculpture.

Everything about this beautiful ship is jaw dropping. We are booked in 2025, I’m not sure I can wait until then!!! Learning about the Pearl and effort to create is mind boggling. When pulling into port for the first time next month I hope you will be sharing the event. I have to be believe the creators, innovators, laborers cast and crew will shed some tears on what they will be delivering to us, the passengers!!
There will be many RUclipsrs on that cruise, no problem feeling like you are there!

This beautiful ship is the one that I was dreaming of. The Icon of the Seas I always believe that this beautiful ship would come true. I always knew it because I also love an airplane called Icon, so I always believe that Royal Caribbean next ship will be called Icon of the Seas. Love it. I wish I could win a trip with this beautiful ship. The Pearl ♥️ an true Icon.

Невероятно красивое, изящное техническое решение! БРАВО дизайнерам и команде!!! Но мне кажется, лучше было бы оставить в белом цвете, максимум - в перламутровом, неоновые радужные цвета превращают конструкцию во что-то, родом из 90-х...

Idol of the Seas should be a ships name in the Icon class. Icon means admired and Idol of the seas is fitting and classy

I think that’s a matter of opinion and personal preference. I happen to like 7, no special reason. And some swear that the higher up the better.

Like a posh, family mall in USA. So much plastic decor, flower and plants and it is very disappointing, so far and what I had seen from vlogs on board. Take "The American Dream mall including the Nickelodeon theme park" and you have this boat. Where is the relaxing, beautiful, romantic and most beautiful vacation place on board this new ship? The entrance is a pearl, with a hole thru it, like a broken necklace - where's the chandelier, the flowers, the trees and the holiday, welcoming ambiance?
Sorry for the bad review and yes, I can't afford to travel with your company but even so, I will stay on the dock and wish you all the best! Let's make vacation great again!
While it has multiple dual-fuel Wartsila engines as generators, during passage it will use bunker fuel or diesel, what is a shame: even people on the ship is risking cancer. Hello Royal Caribbean, stop doing GREEN WASHING.

I DONT GET IT. All that effort just to make these flaps that move back and forth. Would've been better just to let the natural light in through the windows instead of blocking with that eyesore.

@@RedRoseSeptember22 he's got a point. the whole purpose was to allow a window at the promenade which is a great concept but they blocked it with a modernist set of stairs.
