The Bubble Technique is great. It's so much quicker and easier to do on yourself. And the end result can look magical. A colorist at Pulp Riot invented it. The colors are supposed to look like the colors in a bubble. A video trying it is needed.
The crepe paper technique is popular in Brazil, and it has been used since long before dyes of non-traditional colors were made available here. I had an elementary school teacher that used it to get her hair into a bright vermilion red, and it was popular for theater too. People would just beach their hair with hydrogen peroxide and apply the crepe paper tincture on it. It comes off when the hair is washed, tho.
I am 60 and did your wolf cut tutorial. It came out great. Just like when I was in my teens, it is the same hair cut with lots of layers. I have naturally curly hair. It is now silver gray all over and I love this cut with it. I am now thinking about doing a color underlayer to give it a little pop. I look forward to using your color and seeing how it comes out. Thanks for all the fun videos, it makes me smile knowing over my life time my hair cuts and colors I did myself weren't as bad as most. LOL

For those with long hair, years ago I learned a very quick layered cut called the lion's mane. All you do is pull all of your hair up into a ponytail right on top. Then at right where the length of where you want your front hair to be you cut across the ponytail. Remove the band on your ponytail and brush. Your hair will fall into layers.

Hi, Brad! Greetings from Argentina 🇦🇷 🇦🇷 🇦🇷 I've been dying my hair purple since 2006. 💜When I started, professional hair dye was waaaay too expensive, and too blue for my personal taste, so a coworker shared with me the ancient secret of crepe paper. I still remember the formula: 2 purple papers, and 1 blue. 💜💜💙 You had to bleach your hair once (I do my roots every 6 months or so), cut the paper into little pieces, boil it in around 2 liters of water, let it cool down a little, and dip your hair on it for half an hour. Rinse, stylize, and shine! 💅🏻 The pot where you boiled the paper was ruined, and you could only use it for that (except if you are into purple mashed potatoes, I don't judge!). It lasts for 20 days or so. People said your hair ended up ruined it, but until the dye I use now was released, crepe paper was my best friend and my hair was healthy AF. ✨✨✨
I really wanted my hairstylist, to try something like that at 10:35!! It looked so cool! But she said she could do it, but without a table to spread all of my hair on it… she dyed a really beautiful rainbow in my hair in an endless 6-hour-session…. And everyone asked me, if I lost a bet…why was that? That made me a little sad, but the outcome was incredible! It was worth it! And it was just at the beginning of those rainbowhair a few years ago. Unfortunately Covid stole her store so there are no more color-experiments for us…

I've actually done the crepe/tissue paper method on my daughters hair during lockdown, it turned out quite nice, although probably even better on blonde hair. I think it only lasted a couple washes, and obviously started disappearing after the first wash, but perfect for someone who doesn't want to dye their hair or is too young to have it done properly. Disclaimer though, I saw a lot of parents did this during lockdown and children with blonde hair struggled to get rid of the colour x
I have dipped dyed my daughters blonde hair in pink Crepe paper and came out really pink. Lasted ages I would say it lasted 2 months till it faded out.
I have been colouring my hair with crepe paper for years and the colours always come out very vibrant. It would sometimes last a few weeks, the longest was around 3 months of rocking the pink hair!

I can confirm that the crepe paper/ the video after the highlighter one, works! I did it all the time ,my being a natural blonde,I did Red,Purple and green. The purple was my favourite
I used crape paper to get blue because you couldn't buy blue anywhere in my country 15 years ago and I wanted blue hair (funnily enough, I just went blue again recently). It stays for weeks on bleached hair, I don't think it ever faded out completely (tho I re-did it every few weeks once it got too pale)

She knows me too well already. At first i was kinda embarrased that i would actually sleep there, but not anymore. Theres nothing better than someone doing youre hair, so relaxing and it always puts me to sleep.😂
I’m kinda curious to see a video where Brad test different sharpies on hair (on a wig, ofc), to see how Long each sharpie is gonna last, or if they wash out after the first wash🤔
First of all Brad you look stunning as usual🤩 And your videos really bring me a lot of relaxation and fun when I'm feeling down, so thank you💕💕💕 Second and in a completely opposite direction, some of these tiktoks are so frustrating to watch because not only are they not even really that cool (wow dumping goop on head 500 times, so wow so original), but it is AN IMMENSE WASTE OF PRODUCT LIKE WTF WE ARE IN A CLIMATE CRISIS WE DO NOT NEED TO BE WASTING THAT MUCH PRODUCT IN ONE GO TF. And like for NOTHING. It'd be one thing if it were like a physics lesson for the kids or something, but it's for NOTHING. Meng sometimes I can't stand tiktok.
I have done the coffee toner on my roots! I’m a level 6-7 natural w/ some red so Ive struggled a few times leaving salons after dropping $$$$ on all over highlights but not being happy w/ the root color or tone not looking natural. I’d semi- correct w/ coffee toner at the roots myself. The cool espresso tones neutralized a lot of warmth at my roots and also provided volume w/ the added caffeine boost. 🤷♀️🤷🏼♀️
OMG I've been wanting to bring back colors but also stay platinum and that rainbow ombre tips one was just 🔥 sooo good! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 That's what I want to do next!
I used to dye my hair with crepe paper pretty regularly when I was a teenager! I started with directions semi permanent colour but I couldn’t afford it in the long run, so I started using crepe paper and I actually liked it better! You can get some pretty sick effects and it stays in just as long as semi permanent colour
Don't pay for any of that! this video shows beautiful people doing stupid things to their hair. I must say the colors are beautiful. Brad's expressions are too funny I always laugh and giggle while he is explaining. Mr. Brad I will call you a drama king. I always enjoy watching your videos.
I've tried the coffee technique, it's not disgusting in the moment, it just smells like coffe A LOT, but when you end the procedure and you dry the hair...UGH that freakin' smell doesn't go away and after the 1st day it doesn't smell like "coffee" anymore but like something else ...it's really bad and it stays there for like 1-2 weeks. Also if you're not blond, you don't see any result. I tried to color my hair even with tea, the smell is really good but it doesn't really give any result.. P.s. I'm not crazy, it's only that I really want darker hair, but I'm allergic to all hair dye...I'm also allergic to henna, indigo and basically every "coloring" plants
The crepe paper is classic technique of children in our country. At children ´s camps especially. Everybody tryed it :D and it really works. And it was really fun when starts rainning. becausse you can remove it with just watter, so if you had pink hair, you end it up with pink face, t-shirt and everything.... You can try it. It´s just piece of crepe papers and warm watter. You soak it for few minutes and then you soak hair in it, blow dry, and thats it.
I'm curious how the person laying down rinses the haircolor of. Would she not have to stand up and go to wherever they rinse it of and how in that case does she do that without splashing color everywhere or accidentally smushing it together? Also, was it just me, or did it look like they did it in a classroom or something?
To say I was rooting for you and not use Tyra's meme as a cut out is a travesty on your editing team. You did it so well I felt through my phones screen. 😭
Crepe paper dye doesnt last very long! 1-2 washes, it really depends on how much you use and what color your hair is when it starts. I've done this myself as a kid and it washed out in one go for me - my friend with very very blonde hair it mostly washed out in 1 but left remnants for another 2. (Also as others have said, its like the stuff streamers are made out of for bday parties!)
🤓 I have always wondered how celebrities change their color continuously and their hair is still in good condition, could you do some review of how they keep their hair healthy with these drastic changes 🙈
wigs and installs. all the heat styling and dye jobs is not done on their actual hair so when you see pictures of them without wigs it still looks in good condition
When you have millions of dollars in your bank account, it's pretty easy to have great hair. Wigs, extensions, world-renowned colorists...and really expensive, unnecessary hair products. But us regular people will never be able to repeat what celebrities do to their hair. Most of us dont have millions of dollars to pi$$ away. I'd rather just leave my hair how it is, using everyday shampoo from Walmart...because I have bills to pay.

I’m kinda curious to see a video where Brad test different sharpies on hair (on a wig, ofc), to see how Long each sharpie is gonna last, or if they wash out after the first wash🤔
He did a video like this a while back! And miss manny Quinn looked gorg
He already did a video like that
@@JoeyRoo I mean with different brands😄
5:17 that is so cool ❤
First of all Brad you look stunning as usual🤩 And your videos really bring me a lot of relaxation and fun when I'm feeling down, so thank you💕💕💕
Second and in a completely opposite direction, some of these tiktoks are so frustrating to watch because not only are they not even really that cool (wow dumping goop on head 500 times, so wow so original), but it is AN IMMENSE WASTE OF PRODUCT LIKE WTF WE ARE IN A CLIMATE CRISIS WE DO NOT NEED TO BE WASTING THAT MUCH PRODUCT IN ONE GO TF. And like for NOTHING. It'd be one thing if it were like a physics lesson for the kids or something, but it's for NOTHING. Meng sometimes I can't stand tiktok.
This is how I feel about the food videos where it was someone just throwing random shit in a toilet or whatever. So wasteful!
Watching these keeps me from messing with my own hair. It's a public service, really.
OMG I've been wanting to bring back colors but also stay platinum and that rainbow ombre tips one was just 🔥 sooo good! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 That's what I want to do next!
11:39 Sounds like an opportunity to do your own video on it? Could be a great way to show off your hair color line!
“You guys are sick!” Omg made my day 💞
The paper thing lasts a few washes. U should do it.
Here in brazil it's the equivalent of sharpie colorin` your hair when ur in the early teens.
BRADLEY!!!!!! ❤❤❤ it’s so good to see u today ❤❤❤
Love you videos so much Brad 💖
I used to dye my hair with crepe paper pretty regularly when I was a teenager! I started with directions semi permanent colour but I couldn’t afford it in the long run, so I started using crepe paper and I actually liked it better! You can get some pretty sick effects and it stays in just as long as semi permanent colour
Why and how does Brad give off such strong Alexa from schitts creek vibes?!
Ma ma ma ma ma ma ma
A little bit Mondo
Brad’s hair looks amazing 😮!!
Don't pay for any of that! this video shows beautiful people doing stupid things to their hair. I must say the colors are beautiful. Brad's expressions are too funny I always laugh and giggle while he is explaining. Mr. Brad I will call you a drama king. I always enjoy watching your videos.
I use to use pulp riot for my hair and honestly it’s so good and so easy to mix
That bubble technique was sick 🥰
To say I was rooting for you and not use Tyra's meme as a cut out is a travesty on your editing team. You did it so well I felt through my phones screen. 😭
I loved using sharpie in my hair as a teenager. Could change it frequently and it was just so fun.
Can we just talk about how adorable the person from the 3rd video is?!
Love your videos! I have my own salon in the UK and would love to try your products on our clients! Do you ship to the uk? X
12:30 I’m down to get color dumped on my head 🤣
🤓 I have always wondered how celebrities change their color continuously and their hair is still in good condition, could you do some review of how they keep their hair healthy with these drastic changes 🙈
This is a great idea!! Think about how often someone like Gwen Stefani bleaches her hair. How does it not fall off?
I think often it's just wigs
Human hair wigs & hair extensions. Certain hair extensions only last 3 weeks and need to get re done. That’s how.
wigs and installs. all the heat styling and dye jobs is not done on their actual hair so when you see pictures of them without wigs it still looks in good condition
Your hair be looking amazing Brad!
I add coffee to my henna powder to tone down the brassiness and add more depth - totally works!!
Yeah you should definitely try the crepe paper method and some says it stays for like 3 washes idk
