- I show how to customize a canoe and make it unsinkable even with a big battery and a trolling motor! I also demonstrate the technique of getting back in the canoe if you were to fall out, which I do!

Those chopper lures are made for florida style fishing in the rough..Id like a kit they used to sell..brilliant concept.

you are the coolest ive been off and on watching you since 1970 the first big bass tourny and seen you through the years and you still got it at 80 hey Im 65 and been sick the last few years but even in my 50's i dont think I could have done that and gotten back in the canoe ill watch you for as long as you want to put these vids out im your's for life i also watch your son scott!

Awesome deal Mr. Martin. I think a bit lower is what many will say but when you have a second person in there like your camera man they are in the perfect spot. And then will keep the boat from capsizing from the weight transfer if one person goes in. Always enjoy watching your videos.
Great sound affects and stunt work! Gave me a much needed laugh. I will strive to be as fit as you are when I'm older. Good idea on making the canoe safer when loaded down.

This is awesome! I just bought a canoe from Facebook marketplace. Now I’m looking at adding these floats like you have. That’s really impressive it didn’t tip when climbing back in.
I been salvaging boat bumpers and keep one or two tied to the bow on my old town canoe. I got the canoe on Facebook marketplace for $450. I'm in Pittsburgh and canoe the three rivers.

I am 48 and I couldn’t sit cross legged like that. And if I did I would need help to get up. I am impressed by Roland. I really enjoy these videos. I hope to one day actually find a Bass Tracker Classic XL and buy it and go fishing soon.

@Nickhead87 1. I am a doctor who has seen hundreds of cervical neck injuries at a level one trauma center. 2. I read Charles Krauthammer's book. He tragically broke his neck and became paralyzed in medical school but graduated reading medical textbooks on his back. I am not an random Internet nervous Nellie.
