  • Unapologetically decadent, with privacy paramount, this residence represents the pinnacle of hinterland living. Surrounded by breathtaking panoramic views, it is divinely crafted into the upper limit of ridge line - a masterpiece of elegance & exuberance.
Instilling a sense of occasion before the house is eventually revealed you are greeted with dual gates & a winding driveway snaking through manicured lawn to the main residence.
Stepping out in the stone paved forecourt, you are encircled by lush green landscaping that conceals the view & emphasises the grandness of the travertine staircase. Ascending the stairs your gaze is torn between Noosa and the ocean, or forward toward the opulent entrance. It is at this point that you are immediately aware of the sheer scale of the home, the immense weight of the structure & the unimpeded beauty of the hinterland view. Should you wish to take the easy way out a five-person elevator can take you from your car to the living level of the home.

This mountain should have been national park and for the use of everyone, it’s an eyesore on the mountain for a privileged few

@@gyrex Thanks. I was gonna say about half of that.
Land can't be worth more than 2M, building this is 3M at max.
8 would be greedy enough. good luck to them. #SubprimeContinent

@@DatKidJohnny Yeh, sorry mate but you're way off on all calculations. Land is probably worth $6-8M minimum. Guide: A 1.2ha block sold in Jan on Duke Rd, Doonan (close to here) for $1.3M - this is 6.5ha. Building in the current market would cost around $6-8000/sqm for a build of this quality so that's $7.2M on the low side just for the build. Plus landscaping on this scale you're looking well into the millions.

@@gyrex The Australian property market is an unsustainable Ponzi scheme.
It can’t stand on it’s own without increasing intervention to entice the marginal borrower into more debt, which temporarily supports valuations.
Take away the support & see what happens to prices.
The house is gorgeous, no doubt, but take the 15+ M $ to Beverly Hills and see that you get over there.
      Sorry can't see the value.

@@DatKidJohnny This kind of market runs independent to the market you speak of. I agree with you that regular house prices in the major capital cities in Australia are overvalued. A little birdie told me that there's already 2 offers on this property and I suspect there's a lot more domestic and international interest in it.
I'd prefer to live in Mumbai than Beverly Hills - 2 completely different markets catering to different people. The kind of people typically interested in this property are super wealthy types who are relaxed and you'd never know they were wealthy if you bumped into them at the local pub; they prefer anonymity, privacy, peaceful hinterland surroundings with a casual 15 minute drive to some of the prettiest beaches in the world vs the Beverly Hills types who want to grandstand to everyone how wealthy they are.
