- These excerpts are from "Jazz Dance" a short film by Roger Tilton, filmed in the Central Plaza Dance Hall in New York City in 1954. These excerpts feature legendary jazz and Lindy Hop dancers Albert "Al" Minns and Leon James, burning up the dance floor and clowning around for the camera and crowd.
In loving memory of our heroes and teachers:
Albert Minns 1920-1985
Leon James 1913-1970
The song is Doggin' Around by Count Basie.
