Duclair is not a first line player, although I believe Roy will give him a shot there since he's exhausted all other options. I see him as more of a 2nd line option playing with Brock and maybe the new Russian forward that the Islanders picked up. With Palmieri having a bit of a resurgence scoring 30 goals last season, I'd like to see him get a good look at playing with Barzy and Bo on the 1st line.

The guy is in his prime & (as reported) his primary motivation is to play for Roy. The team needs to improve in goal differential, power play and OT losses. The only value will be in his production and positive impact in those areas.

LOU MUST GO!!! IShkakov going to russia is a disgrace when you have losers like engval on the roster. It’s GM malpractice.

You sound silly. Anyone shitting on Lou sounds silly. You do not and will not know a shred of what he knows about hockey. Any claims to the contrary makes anyone sound ridiculous.

You're trashing Lou over a 5'8" player who scored a total of 35 goals in 138 AHL games for not giving him a roster spot on the Islanders?
