We have a very similar culture, while not so much with some other European countries (the latinos you mentioned for example). We also fought side by side in the war against the Commies so theres that too, it did affect the last 2 generations growing up. But still almost anybody arriving to a new country can feel more connected to another foreigner, because in a way you are in the same boat. Then if its someone from your continent and even from a similar culture, yes you would naturally bond more.

He's getting a little better at communicating however his responses even crack up his teammates a little. Hope they can keep this core together for a while.

I think Jesse just needed that time away to reflect he has really matured since being drafted and has come back a new man and he’s making Laine and PLD look bad and you know what I’m loving that all I want is every oilers player to try and give it their all and I can proudly say this hole team is doing that right down to Kieth a guy everyone really went after just because of his cap hit but Kieths been good so far no complaints from me and smith been solid. This is a new area no more are the oilers looked at as weak everyone is buying in its fun it’s exciting and the players are upbeat and that’s good. I still want to see the first lose of the season see how the guys responded but so far it’s been good they are getting rewarded for their hard work.
