The incredible Alice Faye at her best. This to me is the greatest musical on many levels. The music, singing, dancing, the dialogue and costumes. The cast and direction is wonderful. Carmen at her best. The epitome of 1940's.

I play piano & organ and the music from this 1940's era , well perhaps not all but most of Harry Warren's compositions which this is one of is very good and well thought out. For some reason I like the women's hair styles too and the way they looked. Could be I am reincarnated from that time there is so much about the late 1930's to 1940's that I relate to.
